We'll Always Have Summer discussion

Does anyone else wish that Jenny would have included Susannah's letter to Conrad? What was the point have having Jeremiah accidentally read Conrad's letter if the readers weren't ever going to find out the contents?

I also wish she would write a stand alone novel, not set in summer about Belly and Conrad's relationship development. I can't help but wonder how they two of them ever manage to reconnect and how Jeremiah was able to cope. Also, do Belly and Jeremiah ever recover from their relationship? Do they ever get back their friendship? Haha. I have so many questions! I think one more book would wrap the series up nicely. I guess it's, for the most part, wrapped up, but yeah...I'd love to read more Belly/Conrad moments.

I KNOW RIGHT?!?!?! I have SOOOO many questions!!! Especially about Conrads proposal!!! Sure we get so see JEREMIAHS but what CONRADS?? And when he went to hr college graduation, HOW did the resume their romantic relationship?? Did they just KISS or talk or SOMETHING?? Or a simple little epilogue where it briefly tells where they went a couple years from then! Did they have any KIDS!?!?!? If a girl did they name her Susannah? Though they probably would have. UHH, just wish Jenny did just ONE MORE novel and then THATS all!! You know??

Jeremiah and Belly are fine. Don't you remember at the end when Conrad and Belly were leaving their wedding she turned back and looked at Jere and he blew her a kiss with his arm around his date?

I also want to know about the in between of Conrad's and belly's relationship. I feel like through out the whole thing we never really got to read about them together together.

I wonder if she lost her virginity before they were married or got back together or if he was her first because that would make it all the more romantic to me.

I think so. Probably. Maybe AFTER they were married is what I'm thinking. If Belly went two years with Jere and they didnt even get to third, I think Conrad probably ended up being her first. But that DOES make it all the more romantic!! UHH WHEN is a tv studios gonna pick up the rights for this series to become a life adaption!! They did for Nine Lives of Chloe King and that wasnt even that popular!! (Not that im complaining though! It WAS good!) SOMEBODY EMAIL A STUDIO PLEASE AND MAKE MY DAY!

Yeah I remember that part at the end, but I wasn't really referring to whether or not they were friendly to each other again. I was kind of wondering whether or not Belly and Jeremiah ever get back that "best friends" relationship again. My guess is no, but you never know...

It really makes me sad that Jenny Han is done with these characters forever. I guess I just wanted to see a real Belly/Conrad book with development between the two of them. We've only been able to see glimpses of their relationship through flashbacks mostly.

I completely agree with all of you. There seriously needs to be another book or maybe even just a short story that gives more details about the time in between the two weddings.

I need more Belly and Conrad scenes, there arent enough scenes with them as a couple.

As for Jere and Belly, I think going back to the "best Friends" they were before would be impossible. However i do believe that Jere and Belly love and care for each other enough to try and move past all the stuff that happened. I think knowing Jere's easy going personality, he isnt one to hold grudges, i think eventually he will move on with his life. Thats just my opinion though.

BTW they went back to the same school!!! right after they were suppose to be getting married. AWKWARD!!!

I knew it would be Conrad! She has always loved him and he has always loved her. This was BY FAR the best book I have ever read!!

I was thinking about this too. Did they get along after? Did they run into each other? I mean, ugh. There should have been a book just about what happened after they called off the wedding. A forth book about her reconnecting with con and how her and jere dealt with the aftermath....

Was Conrad even her first time? Though I'm sure he was but still!! Jenny just left us with SOOOOOO many questions!!! Good thing I read a script writer is working on a film adaption of the series!!!!!

Does the script answer any of these questions? Will the movie expand on the ending of the last book?

Dont know. All I know is that a script is being made. All Jenny says is happening in two of her interviews.

I agree with everyone about needing another book about how this all came about. I think we need to know how she managed to go back to school how and what she did in Spain, did she wait till her wedding day? Oh there is so much more we need to know.

I agree that she needs to write another book about everything after their wedding and how they got to the actual wedding. Also include what happened to Belly and Jere's friendship and if he ever finds true love after Belly.

I think it was left off, and with no further detail, to let the readers imagine it. We have already been told the story of their unimaginable love, and how strong it is. We know It brought them back together, and it's probably better if that's all we know. If the rest of the story was told, it would truly have an end. With the story ending here, it leaves all kinds of possibilities.

And also her and Jeremiah do get along.. One of the last things is when they are leaving the wedding and he smiles and waves and she blows a kiss.

I so badly want to know what was in susannah's letter!! i went reading back and forth a couple of times to see if I had missed it somehow!!!
And definitely conrad's proposal!!

This series is the best story I’ve ever read in my life. And I’m on my forth decade...
I just wish the author would have wrote much more about Conrad. His closed figure was heartbreaking.The whole time I was reading I was aching for him, mainly because it was clear he was so sensitive and loving and didn’t let himself reveal anything.
I think the author would have done much better job if she didn’t elaborate so much on Jere, Tay etc and more time about Conrad , explaining all his fails, elaborating more on him and Belly together. A closure is much needed!!!

I couldn’t agree more! We need an epilogue from Jenny about the last few years of Belly’s college and Spain year. We need to hear how Conrad won her back and how they rekindled their love and how the brothers reconnected!!! We need to read about the evolution of Belly turning into a young woman! We need Conrad Belly scenes together because if they are endgame, there’s not enough of their journey and we enjoy the journey more than the finale. I hope the show elaborates on it more. That could be Jenny’s way of writing the epilogue.
