Bev Pervan (horridlittlebeast) | 1 comments Hi I'm Bev Pervan, author of the book For the Love of Wildlife see www.fortheloveofwildlife.com
I love books on animals, but also good thrillers like the Steig Larsson trilogy, and good dramas like Maeve Binchy.
Please recommend a good read for my Kindle.

Hi Bev,

I write children's books and my latest one: Molly Gumnut Rescues a Baby Bandicoot (Series, Novel) by Patricia Puddle Molly Gumnut Rescues a Baby Bandicoot is an adventure story about an eight-year-old girl who rescues a bandicoot from the claws of a neighbour's cat. She takes it to her grandmother, who is a wildlife carer and helps to bring it back to health. Molly can’t bare to think of the little marsupial being attacked again as the neighbour refuses to keep her cat in at night. Molly’s grandmother won’t let her keep Furble, so she kidnaps him and runs away with him. Trouble is, she ends up putting his life in more danger as well as her own.

This story is available as an eBook and a paperback and was inspired by a baby bandicoot I cared for when it was attacked by a cat. I'm a member of a wildlife rescue charity in Australia that looks after orphaned and injured wildlife.

The book is full of photos of the bandicoot and pictures of Molly, who is a fictitious character. If you’d like to see my book trailer it’s on YouTube and you can watch it here on Goodreads.

Your book sounds wonderful, Bev, I'll go and check it out. I also love wildlife stories.
