You just spelled it wrong. :D Rephaim and Stevie Rae are the only reasons I still read those books though. I hate them besides those two characters.

message 9: by Sky (new)

Sky Umm Finn?

message 10: by Susan (last edited May 12, 2011 06:26PM) (new)

Susan Not Finn. When I say long blonde hair, I mean really long. Past the shoulders. Very, very handsome. Obnoxious.

Finn isn't obnoxious, he's a more silent Scum. He's not as horrible. This guy is worse, but not, but still bad... I really like him, no matter what. :)

message 11: by Sky (new)

Sky lol I didn't read the book.I just guessed from the summary

message 12: by Susan (new)

Susan Ah. Haha. Well, if no one's read it, I'm talking about Keiro.

message 15: by Smog1997 (last edited May 13, 2011 11:40AM) (new)

Smog1997 (confuzzlement) | 168 comments brown hair, switches from pony tail long to crewcut, really tall and big, dark skin, descended from ________
(twilight)
(in school we were learning prepositions on the Smart Board and it had sentences about twilight, that were inaccurate, but still obviously about twilight like Edward walked across the cafeteria, eating an apple. you'd have to know my school to realize why it was so funny, but it was.)

Susan :D She was a shadowhunter in 1878.

message 28: by Susan (new)

Susan George Washington.
But they're supposed to be book characters

And you have to read the Mortal Instruments or the Infernal Devices (preferably both) to know what a shadowhunter is.

message 29: by Smog1997 (new)

Smog1997 (confuzzlement) | 168 comments serious , age 14 (at least in the 1st one), male

Susan Southern Accent. Blond, spiky hair. Flirty. Very loyal. Beautiful Creatures (Caster Chronicles, #1) by Kami Garcia

message 36: by Seraph (new)

Seraph WANT TO READ THAT BOOK!!!
Gah...

message 37: by Susan (new)

Susan Haha... It's pretty good. I'm on the second one right now, Beautiful Darkness. You know, if I had payed closer attention to the title of the second book while reading the first, it might have served as excellent foreshadowing.

message 38: by Becky (new)

Becky (MissFooFoo) hey

message 39: by Susan (new)

Susan Beautiful Creatures?
It depends on your personal preference, but you can't judge a book by it's cover. You can't even judge it by the description on the back of the book, or the one that goodreads gives you. You have to try reading it before you deem it boring.

I was describing Link, by the way. Wesley Lincoln.

message 40: by Smog1997 (new)

Smog1997 (confuzzlement) | 168 comments um usually the books cover is hardly relevant to how good of a story it is

message 41: by Smog1997 (new)

Smog1997 (confuzzlement) | 168 comments Hey, i go to private! (jk, i know what you mean)

message 42: by Susan (last edited Jun 17, 2011 02:15PM) (new)

Susan So you don't think the cover to Beautiful Creatures is good?
Beautiful Creatures (Caster Chronicles, #1) by Kami Garcia Beautiful Darkness (Caster Chronicles, #2) by Kami Garcia Beautiful Chaos (Caster Chronicles, #3) by Kami Garcia

message 43: by Susan (last edited Jun 19, 2011 08:32AM) (new)

Susan Please try it! Just get it from the library or something and try it, it honestly is very good.
It's about a a guy who's been having dreams in which he's falling, but he hears a girl's voice screaming his name, and he holds on as tight as he can as she screams at him to let go. He meets her at Gatlin, a change in a town that hasn't changed for years.
He figures out that she's not really human. She's a Caster. Ethan is sucked into her world, where she's been cursed and rid of the decision between being a Light or Dark Caster. Her 'sixteenth moon' will decide it for her.
But she's leaning in the wrong direction.

I can't say much without giving it all away.

You really shouldn't say a book sucks because you don't like the blurb. It's a blurb. It will never be able to explain the value of the whole story. It's better to read a few chapters, and then if you don't like it, get rid of it.

message 44: by Susan (new)

Susan I won't give anything away. Even if you want me to. :) I can't bring myself to do that. XD If you don't want to read it, then I guess that's just your choice.

Big spiky black hair. Male. glittery and colorful. Very tall and rail thin. City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments, #1) by Cassandra Clare

message 45: by Susan (new)

Susan No he's not a vampire,

message 46: by Kogiopsis (new)

Kogiopsis He's Magnus Bane, and he's awesome.

message 47: by Kogiopsis (new)

Kogiopsis Yes, they do. He's also flamboyantly gay and ridiculously powerful. It works for him.

message 48: by Susan (new)

Susan It means he's gay and very, very proud of it. He doesn't hide it at all. And the glitter and color are just parts of his personality, he's been alive for centuries, and he's been that way for a long, long time. I think it's just his type of self-expression.
And you really shouldn't judge a character just because of how they look. He's so awesome. And funny. And cool, believe it or not.

"There was no need to clarify my finger snap, the indication was clear in the snap itself."
