Ruffles are potato chips (crips?) ;) like this. The ads in the U.S. always say Ruffles have Ridges! Haha

Thin Mints are Girl Scout Cookies:

Thin mints are my favorite Girl Scout Cookies. It's like a chocolate cookie dipped in a mint chocolate. Delish! You can only really order them a couple months a year though.

Beckey | 43 comments The eights sound like what we would call
YORK Peppermint Patties (one of my weaknesses) & they are made in my area (USA Here, about 20 minutes from Hershey PA)
My boyfriend took me out for lunch @ Red Lobster still full from that-shrimp & fish with rice

Beckey | 43 comments My sister had gastric bypass. She had complications with it. Ended back in surgery several times. The one time it was iffy if was going to make through... Just be careful of what you do & if you notice anything out norm for you don't play the wait & see things thru (that's what dr & she agreed to do...) just go cause the Hospital DRs said if she didn't wait then she wouldn't have need the a couple of the surgeries that she needed.
One of the surgeries was to remove her gal bladder, another was to remove kidney stones, and third & fourth, I don't recall what exact what they did in those surgeries.

I had an infection after my surgery I thought my life was over but it got better ..I had my galblatter removed before surgery ..So far other than the infection things have been going good ..except I really wanna eat things I can not

Beckey | 43 comments That's good to hear that everything is fairing well with you...
I sort of know what you mean by not able to eat what you want. My last pregnancy was a nightmare...love cheese and dairy but couldn't eat or drink it any of it. Everything that was dairy made me sick, it wasn't fun... there were other foods that did that to me too..
DRs said that happens...

Look on the bright side (at least according to my sister) you start expanding your diet in moderation in a couple of months...
She was craving donuts afterwards when she was final off the liquid diet, was able tolerate & eat solids. she went to dunkin donuts and got a glazed but only able eat a third of it..
