Hi, my name is Pamela. Thanks to Linda for inviting me to join this group. I recently read her Arms of an Angel, and loved it.

I really like the concept of this group. Reading a romance/love story that doesn't make you feel "dirty" while reading. Wonderful !!!! I recently won a book (which shall remain nameless) of which I can't possibly pick up again after just flipping through. Too graphic, etc., just what this group is going to avoid. Perfect !!

My favorite genres are modern fiction, mystery/thriller, cozy mysteries, and of course, romance.

If you're a fan of "clean" romance (the squeaky clean variety where the door is closed and the hero/heroine are married) I highly recommend the Clean Romances group here on Goodreads, too (if you haven't joined already). I'm a co-mod for that group as well and we have a lot of fun over there.

Meanwhile, take a look around, start some discussions, and don't forget to add your favorite romances to the group shelf.

Hello, I'm Arch. Danielle has invited me. I like clean romance, but can read love scenes that's not graphic. I love tension and that's what I write and what's catches my attention in other stories.

I just found this group, and it seems to be just what I am looking for. The books I like to read and write don't fall into the "squeaky clean" variety, but I'm not into graphic details either. I love a great love story, and sometimes those do need a love scene, but nothing that goes into great detail. I'm so glad for this group, and that there are others who feel the same.

Thanks, Jaimey. I didn't know I could add my own books (still new to everything here). I do believe my stories fall within these guidelines. I had one author tell me "they're just love scenes" when referring to my....love scenes, meaning they were done in good taste without the graphics. And one per story s definitely enough (my new book coming out next week doesn't have one at all).

Our major rule (so to speak) is "no pink". It sounds as though your books will fit in just fine here. ☺

Thank you, Jaime, I did. This is only the third group I've joined and only the second I've even chatted in. Just a matter of figuring things out and finding the time. I wish the email gave you a hint of the comment like FB does. I see them all, but obviously I can't reply to everyone, but I would love to jump in when I see something that grabs my heart and touches my soul. :)

I know what you mean, I read a book a few weeks back which it too will remain nameless, but half way through it I had to stop. I at that point felt like there was not enough soap or water in the world. Also felt like I really needed to go to Confession... lol I like Romance( Heated) but not filthy. Let there be room for an imagination to also tell the story

I'm JB McGee and I write more of a sexy romance, although my new one coming out soon will be more emotional. It's still a romance, but I tried to write a more Christian romance than anything.

I'm excited to be here and hopefully make some new friends.
