Goodreads Nepal (सुपठन् नेपाल) discussion

Hey everyone. I'm starting a thread for adding Nepali books. There aren't any barring rules, but if we follow some for presentation, it ought to be a informative thread.

Please post ONE book per thread, along with any reason why you think we should read it, or why you want to.

I want to read Tutor of History by Manjushree Thapa because my knowledge about Nepal and especially Kathmandu is very limited and I've heard good things about this particular title.

Looking forward to your recommendations.

"Vignettes of Nepal" by Harka Gurung is a good book to know geography of Nepal... I have read it's Nepali version 2 years ago.. I guess it can be obtained from Himal Kitab in Nepali and I m not sure the English version is available or not now-days.

Yeah I had also heard that "Vignettes Of Nepal" was good.

Bisheshwor Prasad Koirala is prominent Nepali author. He is one of the most read author in Nepali language. Some of his great titles are: Sumnima, Hitler ra Yahudi, Modi Aaina, Babu Aama ra Chhora etc. Being a great political figure and first elected prime minister of Nepal, yet he had lived a respected life of a writer as well.

I hear Manjushree Thapa is in Boston/NYC area for a new book release. Anyone else know of this?
