I'm already reading four books. Adding a fifth one shouldn't be any problem... but I obviously won't read it very fast.
Maybe the 50 pages a week limit would work well, then. Would you be able to get the books we'll be reading over in Germanland? For example, it looks like Steve Martin's "An Object of Beauty" is first on the list...
Between the various e-books stores and Amazon.de, it looks like that shouldn't be a problem. The Internet: amazing.
Yes, I bought one before the summer I spent in Israel. Don't know how I would have managed not to exceed luggage limitations otherwise. I still like actual books better, though.
Did you get my email yesterday? It should have gone to the whole group.

Hi everyone. The first book for our group will be An Object Of Beauty by Steve Martin.

We'll start reading on 6 June, which gives everyone a week to get the book in time. Although it's a hardback, it's £8.69 on Amazon with free delivery.
Amy Jones and I both own this book and are waiting to read. Don't be hating on the moderators for suggesting the first read. We'll throw the next one open to a poll which comprises the books which you can add to the Inside Lane bookshelf.

If that's too early, we can put it back a week.
