These dialogs are getting more enjoyable. Even with the long break from this book, I think I'm starting to catch alot of the hidden meaning in the dialogs.'
The reference to "Copper, Silver, Gold" (one of Hofsteader's books) was nice in this dialog.
I recently read someone is trying to translate GEB in to a non-English language. I think Hofsteadter gave that his blessing but wasn't directly involved. I can't imagine how challenging converting these dialogs to another language would be and retain all the layers of meaning.
Near the end of this dialog, I started getting lost. I will take a guess that the next chapter will shed light on the meaning that I missed. Several of the dialogs end with "new material" that the following chapter helps me understand.
