It has come to my attention that even with the large communities, rich media, and the detailed world of Harry Potter, there is no multiplayer online world for this franchise. My idea is instead of waiting around hoping for Warner Brothers to make a Harry Potter mmorpg (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game), we the fans should build one instead. I have the resources to construct a 2d Harry Potter mmo game that can be played by hundreds, maybe thousands of users. Players could explore Hogwarts, Diagon alley, and other famous locals. They could also level up there character, in order to perform more powerful spells. In game chat, and player houses will add to the community aspect of this game. The possibilities are endless!
This is a big project though, so I am looking to fellow fans for assistance. I am looking for artists and writers who would be willing to work with me on this project via email, and possible shoot for a release date around early fall (Before school starts up again :D) You don’t have to be a professional writer or artists, I’m just looking for a few people who might want to try their hand at making a fan made game for the Harry Potter world we all know and love.
