Keerthana How were you inroduced to TMI and/or TID?

For me it was because of a book blog. As soon as i read the title and saw the pic of the cover and read the review, I became desperate to read it (especially when I saw that the protagonist was a girl)

How was it for you?

message 2: by Kath (new)

Kath I was in the library and they had several COG paperbacks on display. I read the back and the blurbs, and was so tempted to just take it home. Instead I got online, found the first book, and had it sent in. Since then I've boughten all the books just because I had to own them, and gotten several others reading them as well :)

message 3: by Daylighter (new)

Daylighter (pantea13) my best friend read TMI cause of her younger sister & then told me about them. the funny thing is I became more obsessed with Cassie's books than my friend is.

A | 20 comments Okey my story is complicated... I was in a shopping mall and then I saw this beaaautifull cover of a book (on special offer) AND it was not City of bones.. It was Evermore by Alyson Noel.. Then at the cash register, the checkout assistant told me that it wasn’t a special offer and that it cost 250 kr.( danish).. So I did not bought it cause I had not that much money in my purse :D.
So I searched on the library website to reserve the book(Evermore). The book was really good (yeah before I read TMI).. So I searched on the library website again to find something.. Similar.. Then I saw this BODY(TMI) on one of those books, so I decided to read it!!!! OMG I Forgot all about evermore haha :D I recommended the book to all my friends and they all liked it too, of course!!

Rose (roseanswers) | 9 comments My friend read it and one day she was standing in front of my house, knocking on my door. When i opened the door, the first thing she said was "Read. That. Book. NOW!" I was very confused, but i found out why she loved the books. Later that day i finished City of Bones, and bought City of Ashes and City of Glass.

message 11: by Erika (last edited Aug 10, 2011 12:22PM) (new)

Erika (livingforthebooks) My friend had picked up CoB at the book store because of the cover and then read it. She then told me that I should read it and I refused to. When I was walking by her in the hall she put it with my school books and wouldn't take it back so I gave in and read it. She had to do the same thing with the Hunger Games

Courtney (there_silence) When I was discussing some books I've enjoyed reading with a new found friend, he ended up suggesting TMI. So I ended up getting the book for Christmas a few years back and after finishing the first one, I couldn't just stop there. I couldn't help but fly through the rest of them. Even ended up getting a few of my friends and family to pick up the series as well!

While i was on the bus, i got bored and decided to read it to kill the time and my OBSESSION started...i just cant stop my self reading this one! i finished reading 5 books in just a week and a half, i was surprised i usually finish 1 book in 4 days, considering that i have a work in those days. i have lack of sleep and rest just to finish the series. after reading the series i got SICK and have to file sick leave. i know it sounds crazy but i think me being sick after reading TMI just save my life, if i was not on sick leave that time i should have been one of those victims of bomb explosion near my work place!LOL! anyways I recommend this to my booklover friends and they love it also...:)
