Kathryn (kathrynh) I was able to get this book on our home page, then changed the dates and it went away...finally I got it to show up again.

I've just started this and think it is great....several have already read it I think. Any of you just reading it?

Sheila (sheilaj) I got it from the library yesterday but have several other books to finish first so I may not get it read in time.

Diane (dcl55) | 17 comments I will reserve it as an eBook download from my library.

Never worry...I've got a first read The Gin & Chowder Club and the note I got - start reading this right now. Well, goodness me, but I do have some things to read first...so I will read our A Thread of Truth first because I want to and not because I have to! Read with us when you can...

Sandy H (sandyquiltz) I've already read it--liked it even better than the first one. I haven't started her other ones yet--decided I'd hold off and read some other books first and then get back to her.

Any chance Marie Bostwick would pop into a book discussion? :-)

Wouldn't that be fun?

Kathryn (kathrynh) Well, where did this book go off of the main page...it's a total mystery to me. I would swear it was there yesterday. This moderator thing can be a tad confusing!

I'm a little over 100 pages into the story and I'm liking it as much as the first one. I really appreciate how the story clips along and doesn't focus on one issue for many pages and chapters. Abigail has a much smaller storyline in this book and I have to say I am really missing her. Ivy, the new character has many layers and I am truly hoping her entire story is revealed by the end of the book. This is what makes for a great read and makes me anxious to get back to the book and keep reading.

I read A Single Thread a at the beginning of the year, but am reading it again to refresh. Just started and already glad that I am, as this is really a great story.

Kit Love Ivy in a Thread of Truth. I think my favorite part in the whole book is when she says she's found a new use for her rotary cutter!! :D lol-quick thinking-who knew they could be so handy!!!"D

I love that all the characters are so "giving"-especially Abigail!

Sheila (sheilaj) I always think of quilt and needlepoint/knitting fiction as fluff but these books by Marie Bostwick seem to tackle some very tough topics. I look forward to reading the next one.

I feel the same way Sheila. I have been very pleased with the storyline. Not just a story that can be figured out in the first 25 pages.

Sandy H (sandyquiltz) I was pleasantly surprised by the topics that Marie Bostwick chooses to tackle in her books. I agree with you, Sheila--I tend to think of quilt-focused books as nice, mindless reading but I find Bostwick's books make me think a bit more. They're still great summer reads, of course, but have a little more meat to them.

Jaci Worth | 37 comments I finished this book over the weekend and absolutely loved it. I liked how they brought in new characters and told the story surrounding them, their childhood and what was going on in their lives. Can't wait until the next one.

Kit Marie left everything open in her last two books-it will be interesting to see where she goes from here. I really, really hope there will be more! :D And that we don't have to wait long!!!!
