message 28: by Melissa (new)

Melissa (melitious) Good job finishing A Voyage Long and Strange!! I've been stalled pretty much since Friday between scrapping all weekend and helping Andy and Jess move today. Hopefully I will be able to catch up by the end of the week!

message 29: by Julianne (new)

Julianne | 152 comments Thanks! I told myself Sunday I was gonna sit and finish Voyage (I only had 30 pages left), but I fell asleep. So, I said it again last night........and I'm done!

I'm trying The Bourne Identity, but I just can't get into it. It's a good story, but it's not holding me. I'm only on page 40, though. I'm totally gonna finish it, but I think I might grab another off my shelf to read in tandem.

message 30: by Melissa (new)

Melissa (melitious) Sometimes that helps. How long is The Bourne Identity?

message 31: by Julianne (new)

Julianne | 152 comments 535 pages. So, I enjoy it while I'm reading it, but when I'm not reading it I don't feel like picking it up.

I grabbed Around the World in 80 Days. It's only 200+ pages long, and it's my classic for Oct.

I need a book that will be lots of fun to read...so I also picked up Lamb by Christopher Moore. Since this is supposed to be hilarious, I figure it'll jump start me again (I have not been so good since before the weekend).

Julianne | 152 comments Okay, so it's 2300 on 12/31. I didn't quite make it to 100 this year (in non-children's books), but I did make it to 90, which isn't shabby at all.

There's always 2009! And, this year, I'm using the "Add book/author" feature from the start.
