Brad Pitt has donated $100,000 to fight California's November ballot initiative that would overturn the state Supreme Court decision legalizing same-sex marriage.

Trevor Neilson, Pitt's political and philanthropic adviser, told The Associated Press that Pitt was surprised that his colleagues in the entertainment industry had not donated more money to support the battle against Proposition 8.
Earlier in the week, Pitt and Angelina Jolie announced they donated $2 million to help fight HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis in Ethiopia. (AP)

I just hated that suddenly Brad Pitt was considered "the hottest guy in Hollywood". I never thought he was all that. He's way too pretty, and he's kind of a two note actor. I can't stand it when people go all gaga over a particular star. It really wasn't his fault, but I found it annoying.

I'm so excited about the new Coen Brothers film. Those guys are frikkin brilliant.

If only little Brad could act. Even just a little bit.

The difference is that I know I can't act, but Brad Pitt seems to be under the misapprehension that he can.

His heart's in the right place, and all that, and so is much of the rest of him based on those pictures. But GOD he can't act his way out of a paper bag. Couldn't he make money doing the underwear modelling thing?
