European Royalty discussion

Would people be interested in having discussion leaders leading group reads? If so, does anyone have any suggestions about how to pick a discussion leader? Maybe once a book is chosen I could ask for volunteers? I suppose there could be multiple discussion leaders for one book if a lot of people wanted to be one. Some of the group reads have been pretty quiet lately, so I'm thinking if one or more people were committed to reading the book and posting some comments (to at least get the ball rolling), it might help other people feel comfortable with posting comments.

Mandy and I will still get the threads up and running, so the discussion leaders would only have to worry about commenting about the book.

Maybe first offer it to whoever nominated the book and if they're not interested, ask for a volunteer? I know whenever I nominate a book that wins I make an effort to comment as much as I can. But it may just be quiet because it's summer and people aren't spending as much time online (as opposed to hermit-me).

Nominator gets first crack at leading the discussion, and if they aren't interested or able we offer it up to the group.
I'd love to see the discussions more lively, but I know (from my own experience) that it's difficult to post often, even when you have strong feelings about a book. We've tried posting book club questions before, but no one really answered them. Maybe the reading guides will help :)

I've found myself terribly spread out with groups at Goodreads, as well as many of the books I've been reading are OOP and of not much interest to the group reads.
