It's all looking good for now, but will let you know if I have any ideas.

This group has been kind of quiet and slow to take off. I was wondering if it would be appropriate to create a post in other groups inviting people to come over and join this group.

Does that seem too overtly promotional? I wouldn't want to infringe on any other groups and their members.

I really hope to see this group become a bit more active.

Why not? Have you invited all your friends?

I've invited most of them. Some have joined and some haven't. As I've mentioned before, a lot of them so far are my family. I've really enjoyed being able to interact with people all over the world and would love to see them come over and join with us.

At least we haven't got any spam in this group, (not yet anyway).

Well if you invite from other groups you will get spam. I swear more than half of the new members in FBC are new authors.
