Reading and Ramblings of Fantastical Fiction discussion

This is my all time favorite fantasy series, as you well know, Amelia. It has it all - depth, characters, travail, a unique magic system, an incredible world where I'd like to live. :)

The language that this series is written in is a bit of a challenge at first, but soon you can settle into it and it becomes almost like music, a ballad in and of itself, which is appropriate as the main hero is a Master Bard who can create miracles with his music.

Absolutely love this series! Arithon is a wonderful character, but I've always had a thing for dark-haired men.

I keep trying to get my family to read this series, with your help maybe now they'll try it out. (So far I have a lot of family in this group :)
