Ice Bear (neilar) | 839 comments Ploughing on with The Idiot. Hoping to have Ice picked up from the library for me, and The Seekers is an easy pick up/put down - and is part 5 of my 6 book 2011 challenge.

The tbr list is stable for the moment.

Magdelanye | 2855 comments A Short Walk in the Hindu Kush came into the bookstore just as I was finishing Sacred Roads, and I pounced on it, having lost my own copy somehow.

My walk around book is a historical/occult fantasy,The Stars Dispose

Hope that the moment comes soon that it will be less effort and more thrill...did I mention that this is my favorite Dosteovsky?

I am enjoying the character of Myshkin, paradoxically alike and unlike myself..... this sentiment sounds familiar.

I have already extended the return date at the library, and have 2 more 'lives' left.

Her Royal Orangeness (onlyorangery) Wow, you're all reading stuff that requires so many brain cells! Me? Not so much. :)

The Amber Spyglass (His Dark Materials, #3) by Philip Pullman

The final book in the His Dark Materials Trilogy. I am so sad this story is going to come to an end with this book. I've loved this series!

Magdelanye | 2855 comments A mite disgruntled to find, although not indicated any where in any place in the book, that The Stars Dispose has a sequel, which is not proving easy to locate.
