Come on! Get off your proverbial butt and tell us what you're reading. If you're in a divulging mood, also let us know what you just read, what you'll read next, and what your favorite book is. Who knows? Maybe I'll organize an author interview from your responses...

Hayley Stewart (haybop) Currently reading The Sisters Brothers by Patrick deWitt book 3 of the 6 shortlisted for Man Booker Prize.

Finished reading The Sense of an Ending by Julian Barnes on Friday and it was horrid - forced me to post my first bad review :(

It's pretty much like the series so far, if you had watched it, but a little bit better. I'll let you know when I'm done.

I downloaded the whole first season. It's awesome! Although the kids in the books are much younger than the ones in the series. (the only difference so far) Still great series, great book!

A Game of Thrones took me over a week to read (12 days, maybe?), which is really long for me. My interest was sparked by the TV show, but I only watched the first episode and then stopped so I could read the book first. XD then I never finished watching.

lol, it's a big book, I agree. I'm reading it for the last 4-5 days and I'm not even in the middle of it. I think it'll take me around 12 days too.
I love the TV show, the actors are great choices!

@Hayley Your first bad review? Oh my, I'm sorry!

@Veronica I want to read both of those (especially Game of Thrones) Tell me how you like it!

@Sarah Same, I watched the first episode, but then I never got to the book, so I didn't watch the series either lol

message 11: by Brenna (new)

Brenna (everafteresther) Oh, I can't wait to read Paranormalcy! It looks like something I'll really be interested in - just waiting for my copy to arrive lol!

I just finished Everything We Ever Wanted by Sara Shepard, which was enjoyable :) I'm going to work on my review and a special post for it today.

Currently reading Grace for the Good Girl: Letting Go of the Try-Hard Life (I'll be odne this one soon!) and Liesl & Po. I'm LOVING Liesl & Po - but I'm a huge fan of Lauren Oliver lol.

After this, I think I'm going to read Eve

My TBR pile is so disorganized. XD I have this huge pile of books from the library, a bunch of ebooks and then books I bought from the massive Border's going-out-of-business sales.. all just piling on up. Half the time I ask my hubby to pick one FOR me so I can simply eliminate arguing with myself over which one should be next. lol

Tell me about it. I have a whole bunch of ebooks saved up just waiting to be read. I've separated them into books I REALLY wanna read soon and books I just wanna have around for when I get in the mood to read them. For some reason I chose to torture myself by reading New Moon (Twilight, #2) by Stephenie Meyer . Now I'm diving into Catching Fire (The Hunger Games, #2) by Suzanne Collins ...after I play around online a little. *blushes*

I did the same thing recently. I have sooo many ebooks that I had to make a separate little folder for the ones I wanted to read ASAP.

This is going to sound bad but... when you start wanting to add everything to you TBR list - yes, there's too much - I've already bought and mentally filled a second bookcase in my flat - it's not good, I can't rely on my local library :S

Thank goodness eReaders can take some of the strain :P

Hehe I have no more room for bookshelves... or books for that matter. Our spare room is all bookshelves and as I'm frequently reminded, there is NO MORE ROOM ;)

Haha, thankfully I won't have someone else reminding me until I have guests come over ;D

My new bookshelf's arriving today after work so am getting the collection all organised beforehand :D

Back on topic - the book I'm currently reading is great except for one thing - the p.o.v and the way it comes across is a bit irritating and stilted - it's first person and is a lot of 'then I said... and he replied... then we went...'. Not sure about it myself, personally.
