Anyone else having trouble with Nook apps? I've had 2 apps that are crashing constantly --goodreads and epicurious. I used them both without incident for weeks now they open but depending on what I want to do they crash and close automatically. I called tech support for help and they told me to archive then unarchive. Didnt fix the problem so they told me to deregister and re-register my Nook. Every time there's an issue with the Nook it seems that's the only fix they have. I've reset it twice now and do not want to do it again.

Anyone else experiencing similar issues with Nook Apps? What did you do? Or did the problems resolve themselves eventually?

Same here with the Goodreads app which sucks, and well, I love angry birds but it has also frozen on me a few times.

I don't have epicurious, but there is a known issue with Goodreads. MY BOOKS link does not work. I have seen it reported several places, but mine still does not work.

The Angry Birds app is possessed. The sound from the game will turn on (without the app running) on its own. Have to restart the Nook to clear it. Really annoying (and a little creepy at 3am).

lol yep. I had to archive it...it just kept doing it!

Anyone find a positive result for goodreads?

Yes; it's working fine for me now. I had to do a hard reset for another issue and when I reinstalled goodreads app all was working again, even the 'my books' button.

Lucky you Tasha. I did the new firmware update-My goodreads worked for, 5 seconds, literally-I hit the mybooks button and it crashed again!
I literally laughed out loud at the insanity of it.

Goodreads App: I archived it, reinstalled it, and it still crashes. Any suggestions?

Since I installed the newest Nook Color software 1.4.1 yesterday, Goodreads is not working. When I open the app, it goes to a black screen and then I have to force quit. I'm thinking of deleting it from my Nook for good. I prefer the iPhone app anyway.

Mine was doing that too then I updated the goodreads app last night and it fixed the problem

I haven't been able to get the goodreads app to work on my nook at all. I'm glad to hear it's working for someone.

That stinks. It is not a very good app anyway. I usually just go to the page in the web browser. You are not missing much.

Thanks for tipping me off that there was an update for the Goodreads app. I was having the same problem Tasha was having with the black screen and force closure. After checking for app updates, there was one listed for Goodreads so I installed it. Now the app works just fine. Thanks again.

Yeah, mine stopped working with the firmware update as well. I usually use the browser, anyway, so it's not a big loss, but it's still annoying that the update was pushed out before the bugs were worked out. Reminds me of the way Windows does things..

When i root it i saw these error message like this "zergy"is not recognized as an internal or external command,operable program or batch file...."adb"is not recognized as an internal or external command,operable program or batch file .I don`t know how to do next step......Please help me...

I keep trying to update a game, and it keeps crashing. It tells me to archive and unarchive but that doesn't seem to fix anything.
