Samantha Sellers (samantha62477) | 10 comments Okay so about 5-7 years ago I got an audiobook from the library. For some reason I can't get this book out of my head and for the life of me I can't find it again......I hope someone can help me.

I am a little shady on some parts but this is how it starts a girl sees her sister killed and then when her parents are so sucked up with grief they don't notice that she has run away....she then is an orphan and almost get molested by a man in some kind of kid home........anyway it goes on and on about her life and then she falls in love with this boy and the boys father comes to her and says you can't get married to him because I am your father and his but come to find out the mother of the son was not true to her husband and the son really isn't his but the girl is. Does anyone out there know what I am talking about?

Christine | 2 comments Here is another puzzle I hope someone can help me with...it was a children's story about a little witch who grew up away from "the witches" intend on harming others...when she was reunited they demanded she do as they and she just couldn't do it. Ironically this is all I can remember of the story, no title or author and as most children's books it was short. Even if you can come up with some searchable titles or authors I would appreciate it. I read the book in the the early 80's and it was not a new copy then.

I had a spreadsheet to before goodreads. But I have a blackberry and I don't think it will let me scan. I will have to check on that.

Eholmes | 1 comments Please help! I read a murder mystery about 10 years that I want to find again. This guy visits an old friend in the northwest (WA state maybe?) and is jealous of his life. Ends up killing him, cutting him us and putting in the freezer in the basement. Then takes over his life on the road as a photographer. Someone figures out its not him at some gallery show in another city something. Anyone know this book?

Val (valz) | 6 comments I just read a novel a few months ago. It was in the new releases section of the library and is about a woman who can only remember one day at a time. Every morning when she wakes up she thinks she's very young and is stunned to discover that she is much older. Any help?

Val (valz) | 6 comments okay, I just found it myself by googling what I wrote above. It's Before I Go To Sleep.

Erika Rominger | 2 comments I am trying to find out this book about how(I think) a teen girl does not know how to swim. But one day when she goes to the lake she lives by she sees this guy who is a really good swimmer and she falls in love with him. She goes back to her house and shaves her armpits and they start bleeding and the guy notices. But anyway throughout the story the boy teaches her how to swim. And in the end she is going to the lake because she is mad about something. Then she jumps in and almost drowns but the boy saves her.

Coolcat | 1 comments Hi guys! I really hope you can help me with this...
The book I'm looking for is for teens. The story is set in the future. It's about a girl who codes cheats for clients. These clients are for people who enter a game at the end of which is a giant reward I think the end of the game was called The Roots. They often die in the game which means they die in real life. You have to enter a cubicle kind of thing to start playing. So there is a guy who shows up, dark haired and skinny, and enters the game( her love interest if I remember right). He gets extra health and fights monsters, turned invisible on the map for a while etc. Anyway, final level was where he meets with his father and fights him but he had infinite health I think. There was some final clever thing he did and won. Another thing I remember is a client that showed up before, a beautiful woman that took the protagonist in the middle of the night to a scenic place with a great view od the night sky. She died (in the game I think) which was why the main girl wanted her cheat code to work so much and made for that guy.
Some more things I remember- the main girl used to be a top cheat-coder but lost her fame. She was taken in by a bunch of other coders, one of whom never talked. They were in hiding (from the govt.(?) ). One day an explosion occurred and a body flew out of a building and crashed onto the ground. They took the person in, but there were arguments about this decision (since they were in hiding).

Yotam Gil | 1 comments Hi! Seeking a YA romance. The cover is gray and has a red heart with a cross on it (maybe an X). The book tells the story of a young man going to war (might be ww1 or 2) and his girl friends or wife who waits for him to return.

My girlfriend read a translated version (from English) of the book between 1994 to 1999, meaning 16 to 21 years ago. She loved the book, but unfortunately doesn't remember much, not even if it had an happy ending.

Your ideas and thoughts would be highly appreciated.
