Christy (blissbooksandjewels) | 9 comments First off, if you've not read this book, you're missing a real treat! I would love to discuss the book with those of you that have read it to know what you thought.

Secondly, Sandra stopped by my blog this week for an interview and giveaway, and she talked a great deal about her research and love of the Tudor time period. Well worth reading, I promise. :o) And if you'd like an opportunity to win a copy of To Die For, simply stop by my blog anytime before Sunday, August 21st, to leave a comment to enter the giveaway. Even if there isn't but one giveaway copy, I would encourage those of you who love Tudor history and/or English history to check out To Die For. It's a very wonderful story! :o)

Charmaine (empress_charla) | 114 comments I had no idea that Sandra Byrd wrote an historical fiction novel! I've read her young adult books but never her adult books. I'd love to read this one! <3 I love Anne Boleyn. <3

Christy (blissbooksandjewels) | 9 comments Charmaine, it's absolutely wonderful! And if you've read her YA books, you'd definitely love her first 3 adult books which are all part of the French Twist series, and have a quirky style all their own. :o)

Charmaine (empress_charla) | 114 comments Thanks for letting me know about "To Die For" and the "French Twist" series. :-) What is that series about?

Christy (blissbooksandjewels) | 9 comments It's about a girl who ended up majoring in French (history, I think?), but when she graduated, had no idea what she was going to do with her life. Jobless and desperate, she found her way into cooking at a French bakery. The second book takes her to Paris to take baking classes, and the third book has her back in the States. They're all a whole lotta fun to read! :o)
