Shannonreads like crazy | 9 comments well, clearly she SHOULD write a highland historical and end the drought

unlikely though - another contemporary mystery romance is probably what she will write.

Maggie Spry | 15 comments I just hope that it's another historical romance.

Personally, I would love to read Faith and Quilin's story.
At the end of THE WEDDING Brenna's little sister and Connor's next in charge had some great chemistry!

Me too!!!!!!!!!! I wrote to her and she said she had no plans to write about them and no plans for any historical books.... only contemporary ones. Maybe if we all wrote to her and begged!!!!!!!!!!! I felt as though the Wedding was not finished and went searching for their story and was sooooo disappointed to find nothing. It seemed so strange to have been almost set up for their story and then to be
let down.

I wrote to her as well and told her that I hoped that she would write Faith and Quinlin's story. She never commented.

Pamela(AllHoney) (pamelap) Well, we can't demand that her muse give her what we want but I sure wish she'd return to the highlands. Or Medieval England.

Gini (chickenhawk) I like her contemporary books, but love the highlands. I'm not sure how much longer I will read her contemporary without a historical one every now and again.

Pamela(AllHoney) (pamelap) After being a huge Julie Garwood historical romance fan, I didn't appreciate the contemporary at first. I liked them but I kept trying to compare them to the HRs. My second time around reading them, I liked them a lot more.

Joannwv (wvrn47) | 3 comments A totally alpha male warrior medieval setting , a Scott of course maybe Dylan's story. , then we could see Broderick and Gilliam again

I wish she would go back to the historical, honestly. I am pining for some good western historicals. Not as many nowadays.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 286 comments I would love to see another historical by Julie Garwood. What passes as currently published historicals just don't cut it for me. I haven't read many lately ones that I have read were not very good, even though one of my daughters loves them.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 286 comments Her next book Wired (Buchanan-Renard, #13) by Julie Garwood is due out July 28th.

Pamela(AllHoney) (pamelap) ☺ looking forward to it, Anita!

Anita (anitanodiva) | 286 comments I put Wired on hold at the library yesterday along with Nemesis by Catherine Coulter, and Perfect Touch by Elizabeth Lowell.

Joannwv (wvrn47) | 3 comments I think with all the talk about Outlander on Starz. A medieval about Scotland would be a best seller Esp from the reviews of her previous books

message 16: by Anita (new)

Anita (anitanodiva) | 286 comments Since her current book Wired (Buchanan-Renard, #13) by Julie Garwood isn't scheduled for publication until July 4, 2017, it is going to be a long wait for an historical.

I totally agree with you!!! I believe the last one is the book after Ransom (my fave~) which has a few negative reviews because of the Heroine D:
