Nicole (mrst_292) | 25 comments Amelia Sachs is a likable character and I have read all of the Deaver novels about her and Lincoln Rhyme. The stories suck you in, and they are great as long as you don't try to think about how realistic they are - they would make great characters in graphic novels! Perhaps a cape for Rhyme and a mask for Sachs? Forgive my sarcasm . . . I did enjoy them! It just become a bit tiresome trying to believe that Sachs can always arrive just in time while guided by Rhyme who can only move one finger . . .

Magpie67 | 31 comments I am also a fan of this series but not that they arrived just time as duo crime fighting partners but of the crimes themselves and the clues presented. That in itself is the most fun about reading these novels. Following the clues my dear Watson!

Sunflower | 33 comments Hmm yes, a tetraplegic who is bent on his own suicide is persuaded to come out of retirement and show his genius by solving the crime and saving the "vics"? It reads like a tv crime show, but I found the two main characters believable, and I didn't guess the ending. So a fun and speedy read. Lost nerd points for the medical inaccuracies.

Pollyanna (polly8) I finished this last night and really enjoyed it. I didn't realise this was a book until recently, I saw the movie years ago and loved it. The book is creepier with some things actually making me feel quite sick. Would definitely read the next book in the series.
