Help...please, tell me how this book ended.

I've read this book and apparently it must not have made much of an impression on me considering I just do not remember how this book ended. I'm surprised I haven't even marked it as of having already read it.
I do recall from some "spoiler alerts" that the main character is Sunny, but how the kidnapping and what happened after is just blank to me.
Greatly appreciative for any comments.

I loved this book. Who you thought was Bethany was actually Sunny the whole time. She lied out of guilt because she ran away with the boy that drove the bus and he was psycho and killed her little sister while she was out getting them cheeseburgers. He beat and abused her and eventually his dad ( policeman ) helped her create a new identity and escape. The book basically ended with her visiting with her mother in Mexico.
