5.2: Freebie :) - Since I'm feeling oddly generous, I'm giving a freebie task. Read any book at all -- children's book, erotica, whatever -- and I'll count it for this task!

5.3: New Releases - Read a book published in 2011.

10.1: Father's Day for the Aussies - Read a book with a father-like bond.

10.2: International Literacy Day . . . - . . . is on the 8th of September. To honour it, reread a book that you absolutely love and adore.

10.3: Free Ones Are the Best - Read two books that were free to you (library, gift, eBook, etc.).

15 POINT TASKS

15.1: The Greatest Time of Year - Read the books that are numbers 25 and 12 (for Christmas) on your TBR/to-read list.

15.2: Chinese New Year - Read a book based in China or with a Chinese character.

15.3: Tell a Fairy Tale Day - In honour of this day, read a retelling of a classic fairy tale.
Required: What fairy tale is being retold?

15.4: Two Brains Are Better Than One - To combine the previous two challenge periods, read one book with a heroine, and one with a hero.
Required: Must be two different books!

20 POINT TASKS

20.1: The End of the World - Mayans predicted the would end in December 2012. Read a post-apocalyptic novel.
Optional: Do you think the world will end in 2012?

20.2: Not Exactly Quick Reading - Read two books that have 400+ pages.

20.3: Measure Your Feet Day - An odd day indeed, but no matter! Measure your foot's length, and read that number. Ex: If you were to read ONE, you could read Only the Good Spy Young, Nothing Lasts Forever, and Every Soul a Star.

25 POINT TASKS

25.1: Trick or Treat - Read three paranormal-based books: one with vampires, one with werewolves, and one with either ghosts or wizards/witches.
Optional: What's your favorite paranormal creature? Why is it your favorite?

25.2: Seafood Month - Read three books with the following foods scrambled with their titles: shrimp, lobster, crab. *Read one book with SHRIMP in the title; one with LOBSTER; and one with CRAB.*

25.3: Dia de la Independencia Mexicana - In honour of Mexican Independence Day, read three books: one with a red cover, one with a white cover, and one with a green cover.
Required: 50% of covers must be that colour.

35 POINT TASKS

35.1: Months of the Year - Read books that spell out the name of a month of the year. *"The," "A," and "An" don't count as the beginning letter of the title.* Example for June: Just Listen for J, Unearthly for U, Nevermore for N, and Eragon for E. (You may use some of these, but please don't copy the entire thing.)

35.2: September's the Place to Be - This task has three parts; all three will need to be completed to receive points.

**A. In honour of Chicken Month, read a book with an animal either on the cover or in the title.

**B. In honour of Little League Month, read a book with a main character that plays baseball and/or another sport.

**C. In honour of International Square Dancing Month, read a book where the main character lives out in the country.

35.3: I See You - Read four books where the person on the cover is facing you.
Required: Post the covers of the books when you claim your points.

50.1: And the Award Goes To... - Read five books that have won a literary award. *It should show all the awards the book's gotten on its homepage.*

50.2: Flashlight Worthy - Read five books off of Flashlight Worthy Books.
Required: State which list you found each book in.
