This is the thread to ask Lisa about her latest book, co-written with David Hayward -- Heads You Lose. Ask away!

Melki Loved, loved, loved the bickering! Usually people have to be married for YEARS to be THAT good at it.
(I am speaking from experience here.)

Will there be a sequel?

Lisa Lutz | 21 comments Alas, I do not think a sequel is in the cards. We debated for a while, but the response to the book was very mixed.

Still, I stand by it and am really proud of what we did. And it might be best to leave as is.

Thanks for the question!

Lori Rader-Day (loriraderday) I loved Heads You Lose. It's almost like a primer for writing mysteries, as well as really fun to read. Would you ever work with another writer on a long project again? (This is not a proposal. Just curious.)

Hi Lori,

Thank you. I loved HEADS YOU LOSE myself. I'm very proud of that project and it was great for me and Dave to work together. But that project (despite how it was presented) was intended specifically for me and Dave and to be about the conflict in authorial voice.

I don't inherently like anything about collaborating, especially with two authors. I rely heavily on editors and readers as I write, but ultimately what I love about writing is that it's my story and I work alone.

Let's just say, I'm not that into cooperating when it comes to collaborative efforts. But I do like insightful comments.

Great question.
