Lol... not the dreaded woods :D. Um... I think it should start out in a base... I think starting out right in the middle of the fighting might be a bit much. But then again starting in the middle of a fight might be better.
It woukd fit the whole war plot. So, who is this war going to be between?

Like, Werewolves vs. Vampires vs. Humans?We can do that or go into historical wars and the like.
Hmm we could go like supernatural rather than race fantasy and have Britain against America.
Okay so what I'm saying is we could have just humans with powers and shit instead of elves and dwarves. Then have Britain fighting against America. I'd rather not do vampires and werewolves... sorry but it just doesn't appeal to me right now.

Powers: He can freeze up to 50 people or signifigantly slow up 100 people. He can also grow dragon wings, but doesn't often.
Appearance:
Personality: He's a cool beauty with common sense and a good head for tactics. He's quite serious and not much of a leader but will lead if needed.
Other: His mother could shift into a dragon hence the ears and the ability to grow dragon wings.

Gender: Female
Powers: She controls fire and every once in a while she can summon Destel her phoenix companion.

Personality: She's got a fiery temper and is a great asset in battle. She dislikes kids and idiots but loves to chat with intelligent people.
Other: She's skilled with bows and cross-bows.

Powers: Is telepathic and can read emotions. He also has the power of compulsion.

Personality: He's cool headed and calm. He doesn't get distracted easily and has a knack of getting himself and others out of trouble in recprd time. He's quite the ladies' man, but he doesn't show it.
Other: Good with a sword
Very Important Other: An accident occured.during a recon mission, killing many of Cale's trainees and team members. He was knocked unconcious and in the time he was out, someone who deeply loved and despised him cursed him. So, now, Cale has a huge hole in his memory and he has moments where the curse takes affect and makes him an entirely diffent person. His alter ego goes by Jasper.

Gender: Female
Power: Shapshifting and the projection of fears and desires.

Personality: She's a timid person. She can be pretty.feirce, but that's rare. She tends to stutter and repeat herself and others. She goes deeper with her questions however and is usually the brains of the operation.
Other: Works well with close range weapons.
Very Important Other: During an attempt at escape from an enemy camp, Nikita was cursed. Her entire appearance changed and she now has the personality and body of a three year old, but the slumbering brain of a genius. Powers: He can control the energy waves and turn invisible, He doesn’t like turning invisible so he will refrain from it unless needed, He normally sticks to his gun that never runs out of bullets. (Magic guns FTW)
Side: Britain, He’s a spy. Let me explain that this means he hangs around the American camp but mostly just is at the Britain camp. :)
Other: He loves chocolate ice cream, it’s one of his many joys.

Age: 23
Sex: Female

Powers: She has a dagger in her boot for just in case reasons, but normally uses her telekinesis and extra strength in hand to hand combat, she’s never lost a match.
Other: Has a pet hedgehog named pickles and a love for water naiad's
Others: Desiree was cursed 3 months ago with a baby magically placed in her stomach. She hasn’t told anyone yet and at the moment she barely shows. She fell in love with a man name Harito, he wanted children but she didn’t want children so he placed the baby inside her while she slept and left that night, leaving her a note saying something along the lines of, “let me know when my child is born whore.”
