Lisa (lisao_0) Okay, so I was wondering how everyone organises their bookshelf because I'm looking for a new way to organise mine. I kind of reorganise mine every two of three days :P

Right now it's orgainised according to priorities 1) Size ( I like looking at neat rows, although it also means I have to seperate series because they're different sizes like Fallen by Lauren Kate) 2) Colour 3) ARCs, paperback or hardcover...

How do you organise yours?

Braiden | 333 comments I have a shelf for review copies/ARCs that are in order by month and date.

I did have them alphabetised by author but now until I move and have a wall length dream shelf of mine, they’re just stacked and put anywhere as you can see in my latest videos.

Saskia (deckled_pages) | 310 comments Mine are in stacks (or piles, whatever you want to call them). They're generally in piles according to size, although I *mostly* try and keep series together. At this point for me, it's a space issue and they go wherever they fit really.
There's two piles of review books on the floor too... They don't fit anywhere else.

Jess I organise my books on my bookshelf generally into series groupings, with my favourite series getting prime bookshelf position.

hollyishere | 166 comments My reading pile is actually quite organised, it's sorted by height so it looks at least somewhat organised. Then a few arcs/faves are just placed randomly on my shelves and same goes for the books i'm planning on swapping.

I also have a few books set aside that i'm planning on reading asap.

Cass (casswordsonpaper) | 144 comments Mine used to be so organised, but there's simply no space anymore! So basically my books are just strewn every which way. However I keep all my review copies, books I've bought, hardcovers, etc in separate areas. Size doesn't bother me too much. All of you would probably have mini heart-attacks! :P

Lisa (lisao_0) I'm think of organising mine like Braiden so all the review copies are together and in order of months but the size really, REALLY bugs me and if I do it like that the books aren't colour co-ordinated like the rainbow :/ So hard...

Saskia (deckled_pages) | 310 comments When I say mine are done by size, it's because otherwise it's just not practical. Tall books need to be stacked with tall books to make the most of space. :)
My hardcovers are all together too Cass, they just look weird anywhere else!

Lisa (lisao_0) I keep my hardcover together as well but The Girl in Steel Corset is this short chubby HC so it looks so weird... I got two bookshelves instead of one now so space is not so much of a issue just that no matter how I organise it is looks so all over the place :/

Sarah (Head Stuck In A Book) (sezjb) | 17 comments Hi everyone, I organise my bookshelf alphabetically by author then in their series.

Kikkra Reads (kikkrareads) Mine are just in the space I can fit them in my book cupboard. I then have a shelf in my bedside table which I use as a "to review" shelf, the books on my desk are uni related or borrowed from friends and the books ON my bedside table are the started books

Oh I soo hate when series are released in different sizes. I too like a series to be in the same size and it frustrates me so much when i have one or two books one size and then the release the third book in a large size pfft

Other that my bookshelf is mainly organised in genres but I am running out of space and lately have had to pile books on shelves wherever they fit. I have to share one of my bookshelves with my boyfriend and he likes his in alphabetical order (by authors) as well as size order which is a little ridiculous i think!

Jo-Anne (frankenbookie) | 79 comments Mine are usually organised by genre too. Then I start from biggest to smallest, but like you guys said, its frustrating when they release the series in different sizes!
