Since I now have librarian status I am adding Star Wars books that are to be released and arnt on the GoodReads database, if you know of any that I may have missed please put them here.

Ones I have added or will add soon:
X-wing: Mercy Kill by Aaron Allson
Scourge by Jeff Grubb
2011 release edition of Dark Maul: Shadow Hunter

Matt, please don't add books that don't have ISBN numbers. Goodreads automatically pulls books via Amazon as their ISBN numbers are released. Adding books before they've been assigned ISBN numbers causes duplicate book issues as we can't stop the Amazon pull. Duplicate books cause lots of problems as detailed in the Librarians group. There can also be many problems when release dates are changed and/or books are canceled. This has happened repeatedly in the past with people adding Star Wars novels as Sue Rostoni references things in development. It's best to consider her posts previews and not announcements. For further info see my thread in the Librarians group.

The add books function is mostly for books that would never show up on Amazon like indie or foreign books. If you let the aggregater do it's work, everything will be added automatically with descriptions and details coming as well.

I can understand your zeal to shelve books Sue has previewed, but it's best to just discuss them here and shelve them once they're automatically added via the feed.

If you'd like to help with Star Wars stuff, the graphic novels need a lot of love. They need to be organized by series, correctly Supertitled, Titled, and Subtitled (per the Star Wars novel style), and some need their details filled in or fixed.

Thanks for your enthusiasm!

Okay, thanks for the advice... I shall definitely take it into consideration next time.

Kyle (emperor799) | 80 comments I expect Yoda's exile in the form of a facebook game where you farm ingredients in the wilds of Dagobah then bug your friends for rootleaf as you make your own yoda stew.
