i like aries the bat.

also, did you notice that all the bats are named after greek myths.

aries-greek god of war.

nike-greek godess of victory.

pandora-greek lady that let out all the bad things like fear famine drought and other stuff.

I would say Ripred and Ares. I tend to like characters that are kind of outcasts but still strong and intelligent ^_^

I liked Boots and Gregor!Boots because,she was funny and was a girl with verry few words! Gregor because he was always pretecting his little sister!

i think that its ok that Victoria LeeAnn Pratt called Ares a pet. It's a common misconception. No, he's NOT a pet, but he's a friend and friends are sometimes kinda like pets. We all knew what see ment so it's all ok. :D

I've been reading these books with my 8 year old son, and his favorite is Ripred. Mine is Temp.

Man...I need to re-read these books, it's been YEARS since I read them. but my fav. caracter was Gregor's bat.

Ripred by far. I don’t get how people are saying boots. She was so annoying and easily one of my least favorites. She almost got everyone killed multiple times by not listening. She’s really loud and obnoxious. And she’s really selfish. She’s right down there with evil Solovet. Ripred, Gregor, and Area are the best characters.
