Even before reading this book I knew that I am not going to get a happy ending but there was something challenging about this book that made it hard to stay away from. Heart broken I was in the end but loved the book so much that I will reread it any day to get the same feeling.

Most Jodie Picoult books makes you feel emotional. The Pact is not an exception. But curiosity got the better of me and I read this book.
Guess what it does make you feel sad but that is not the only emotion you feel. You also feel helpless and outraged. But above all you feel a lingering sense of hope that makes it a worth read.

Fair warning about the book tells you that it is not meant for the weak hearted. But that didn't stop it from becoming a bestseller and me from reading it. Guess I never knew how weak hearted I was before reading this book.
Another book I fear is going to make me an emotional wreck in the end but makes me want to read it anyway is

I guess I will read it one of these days.

I also checked this book out. The ratings are making me want to try this book but the whole unwinding thing is scaring me off.
