message 14: by [deleted user] (new)

I don't think I have it or anything, but I have quite a few symptoms..

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

-Depression
-Mood swings
-Anxiety (panic)
-Memory loss
-Sense of being detached from yourself..

^those are mine I also have insomnia.

message 16: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah. It has gotten better for me through the years. When I was younger, every night I had nightmares and would wake up 3+ times every night. Now, I still have nightmares, but it's only 1-2 times. I get REALYY tired during the day, and it's really hard to get to sleep many nights.

message 17: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) If you don't sleep you appetite vanishes but you still need to eat something because you brain just thinks you aren't hungery because you are tired. (This is from someone who has pulled mutiple sets of 72 hours without sleep)

I don't have issues falling asleep it is the staying asleep that's my issue. I have seriously bad nightmares (not caused by anything I watch/see) and I promise you I find nothing scary because you have to get scarier than my nightmares. I haave insomnia that nothing seems to trigger but thankfully I can surive on 6 hours of sleep each night for weeks on end.

message 18: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) Yep, I have discoved how to lucid dream. I have the concept figured out and can control some dreams. The othr night I sucesfully got myself out of a nightmare, made it good and actually slept. It has really helped me deal with insomina and get a slight handel on my nightmares, i'm not that good though.

message 19: by [deleted user] (new)

How?

message 20: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) It'sslightly hard to explain, i did it accidently for the longest time. It is basicly where you are dreaming and while you are in the dream you realize you are dreaming. You can control what happens if you don't wake yoyrself up when this happens, it can be really hard or incredibly easy depending on the dream and person. You can make stuff happen to keep you in the dream. It's easier for me to explain if you ask questions.

message 21: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) Or you can start off lucid dreaming which is complicated and i have only accomplished twice.

message 22: by [deleted user] (new)

Here's the problemo, I can never realize that Im dreaming.. It feels so real!!

message 23: by Irene (last edited Sep 26, 2011 04:05PM) (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) The only time it ever happens is if i've had the dream before and i vividly remember it. The first time it happened (my dreams are vividly real) i had this nightmare where i was in an extreme amount of pain and was wishing i would die, as the pain increased (if that was posible) i realeized i was dreaming and just kept telling my self that. I closed my eyes in the dream and willed it to go away.

message 24: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh, okay. I've had the same dream twice in one night before, and I still could not idenify that it was a dream.. And man, it's was SCARY!

message 25: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) It's really hard to explain, the times where i can do it easily is when it's to the point wher i want death.

message 26: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) And realize it has happened before.

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh, I see, Thats cool. I will try to Lear to do that.

message 28: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) Look it up on the internet, there are .gov .edu and .org sites that can be trusted.

message 29: by [deleted user] (last edited Oct 11, 2011 05:48PM) (new)

I don't have it...but I do have seperate "Me"s. Like, counsiouses. No, I've been tested. But there's at least four or five conciouses....

Heidi...She's the one that tells me that I'm ugly and stuff...I only rarely agree with her...she is terrible...

Unnamed reassurance.... She soothes me and stuff, like conforting me....

Friendly mom-ish figure...She does things that she knows will cheer me up, even if they sometimes aren't the most responsible things...

message 30: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah, it's weird. Plus, I sort of think things happen when they don't. And, Ill ask my friends questions about some things, and they'll be like "What are you talking about?" It's weird..

message 31: by [deleted user] (new)

Me too! Do people look at you weirdly?

message 32: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh, Hmm.. Strange.. Well, I literally talk to myself and people look at me weirdly... Lol. I can't really help it.. Most the time, I don't even realize Im doing it.

message 33: by [deleted user] (new)

Lol. Yeah.. You would probably crack up or be totally freaked out XD Its funny, It probably looks like Im talking to my imaginary friend. XP

message 34: by [deleted user] (new)

message 35: by [deleted user] (new)
