By a narrow margin, "Peopleware" placed first in the poll. I think that it will be a nice change of pace from our recent string of technically deep selections, and a little lighter reading. We will start on October 1st.

The poll results were:

Peopleware 5 votes 33.3%
Dreaming in Code 4 votes 26.7%
Coders at Work 3 votes 20.0%
The Soul of a New Machine 3 votes 20.0%

If you would like to lead the discussion on this book, let me know!

Bonnie Holub | 3 comments My copy of Peopleware arrived today. I got hooked on the introduction and read the first chapter right away. I'm excited to look at this book, because I think the authors are exposing lots of "inconvenient truths" (for lack of a better phrase) about out industry. Looks good, great choice!
