Inside Out discussion

I haven't read anything about this book. I haven't ever HEARD of it!

I'll do some digging, but I was just curious...is it part of a new series? A stand alone novel?

Do we know anything about the plot so far?

I'm so excited, I love love love Maria V. Snyder!

I've done some more looking, and I can't even find confirmation that this book is scheduled, just a brief blip on her page about it being in the works.

This is an excerpt from her webpage:
Writing for young adults is another passion, and Maria's young adult science fiction thriller titled Inside Out is scheduled for a 2010 release. Adults will also enjoy reading Inside Out.

So excited to see a sci-fi thriller from her. Should be great!

I found a little more info in an interview:

Next spring, my book Inside Out will be released. Inside Out is going to be marketed to young adult readers, but the only difference to my adult titles is the length. Inside Out is shorter than my other books, otherwise I wrote it the same. This is also the start of a series and the second book, Outside In will be released in 2011.

According to the blurb on goodreads, it's about a girl who ends up leading a revolution.

I'm thrilled to see some excitment for this book :)

Think City of Ember meets Logan's Run (an old 70s movie) and it's coming out as a trade paperback, not hardcover.

oh gosh! I love Logan's Run (mostly for the cheeziness, but it does have a rather interesting concept) and COE, so it sounds like something I'll have to pick up.


...hehe, that makes it sound like I wasn't already planning on it, huh?

I've read Outside In and Inside Out. Both are very good. Maria has a way of taking her female heros through the ringer then bringing them out on top!

This kind of reminds me of Worldshaker form the girls point of view.

Reminds me of the Uglies series. Loved the book!!! Currently reading Outside In and can't wait to find out what happens next. :)
