At the moment, the advice is simply to be sensible about it. Readers on other forums generally say they don't like long posts - whether they're about one book or several.
One idea that seems to work and would be acceptable is to advertise one book in a post (with title link) but list the cover images of more books at the bottom. Please make sure they appear in a horizontal line.
