I first read Wicked Game in 2008. While I was patiently waiting the year for Bad to the Bone to come out I read Requiem for the Devil and loved that book as well.
I wasn't really interested in The Aspect of Crow series but I ran out of things by Jeri to read so I grudgingly picked it up and found myself on a roller coaster of emotions for three days straight. This series has everything you could want in a series and cemented my love of Jeri's writing. A long sappy emailed followed and I then discovered that not only is Jeri a talented writer but also an amazing woman and generous person.
Knowing she could write several series and books that were so vastly different really showed me her talent as a writer and I've been hooked ever since.
WVMP is my favorite vampire series - SO fresh, sexy and original!
And The Aspect of Crow series is my favorite all time series.
The Shade series has given me Logan - who just breaks my heart - in a good way :-)
Jeri also kick started my love of music. Before I just listened to whatever was on the radio now I'm a concert going fool!
I could gush forever but I'll stop for now....

Kimberly Callegan (kimberdee) | 3 comments I have the YA Crush Tourney to thank for introducing me to Jeri Smith-Ready's Shade Series. While I had Shade and Shift on my TBR list, recommended by my #cyberBFF and blogging partner, Britney- It was @Brookeworm33 who officially brought me into Jeri's world. I won a contest she held during the tourney and she was quick to get those books in my hands. When I dove into Shade, I dove hard- then into Shift. I was at a loss of words and I was totally in love... with both Logan and Zachary. I WILL NOT choose between them, I refuse! Her characters knocked me off my feet. And Jeri... wow! She's such a fabulous author and extremely dedicated to her fans. I wish there were some sort of portal that would take me to her world so I can get loss in it. Hey- if there are any computer saavy tech boys or girls out there... invent a cyber book thingy! I would sell my soul to get one, ha!

And then... OH MY SHANEALICIOUS! The WVMP Radio Series. Bite me please, PLEASE!! They were my first adult reads and, and... reading them makes you feel all sorts of things O_O!!!

I can't wait for Shine, Lust For Life... I will quickly pick up Aspect of Crow Series and Requiem for the Devil.

So... thank you Jeri for being so wonderful to us and making it so easy and beautiful to get drawn in your fictional world!

Julianna Helms (julianna_helms) | 1 comments I met Jeri first at the RT BookLovers Convention back in April this year. There were free books given out, including Shade. Now, I'm just not a "ghost" type of person, so I was pretty reluctant to start reading it, but the premise totally had me hooked and I just HAD to find out what happens. So I opened it. And then I devoured it. I brought it with me everywhere, and when I finished I went immediately to the bookstore to get Shift (thank goodness it was out by then! Otherwise I probably would have gone crazy over the wait), which I pretty much inhaled. And then the YA Crush Tournament came along, and that grounded me to the world of We-love-Jeri.

I haven't read her adult books yet, only because I don't read adult, but when I do start reading adult, hers will definitely be the first ones. :)

Mary (mary_qp) | 1 comments I fall into the same category as Kimberly. I was introduced into the world of Jeri via the YA Crush Tournament. I was all for St. Clair, but wanted to read all of the other books to vote for characters I liked. I bought Shade and Shine not really knowing what they were about and fell in love with Zach, Logan, Dylan, and everybody! Once the tournament was over I saw a couple of other #TeamKilt members talking on twitter about the WVMP series and figured I would give them a shot. They were my first adult books and WOW they did not disappoint! How can you not love Shane and all the other OCD vampires!

Another thing that is awesome is all of these great books have amazing soundtracks that go with them! Jeri has ridiculously good taste in music! I can’t wait to see where these characters go next and hear the music that accompanies the journey! :)
