Same rules as last month nominate however many you would like, all books must get a second to be included in the poll. This is for fantasy only other genres will be handled in the other folder.

Thanks and have fun!

Have we decided on the fantasy story for October? 'Cause whatever doesn't make it I'd sure like to nominate for November. My own, Hemlock, Oak of Hope, etc.

The poll hasn't closed quite yet, but I wanted to get a head start so I don't forget later lol. I believe you are still winning for October, but there could be a late surge in the poll so we can hold off on those until October is finalized.

Yeah, only by one vote, and that could change in a heartbeat. I personally haven't voted yet. Not sure who to vote for. There are several that I'd like too see reviewed.

Besides, I won't vote for myself. :)

I'll second the nomonations for An Oak of Hope and Hemlock and the Wizard Tower. I will also nominate In Wilder Lands: The Fall of Eldvar. Don't forget to nominate your favorite fantasy books and check the other folder to nominate November's non fantasy genre.

Simon Stone (goodreadssimonstone) | 33 comments Hesitantly and with a little disgust at my own narcissism I'd like to offer my novel,The Shadowed Path. But only because I have no reviews yet and really want some!

Simon, you're nominating your book to be reviewed as the Fantasy book for November?

I'll second your nomination.

It's good to nominate your own book. Without promoting yourself very few people will ever stumble upon it. Hopefully the winners of the book of the month here will get some extra reviews out of the deal.

I will second Brother Thief. Checked out the description looks interesting.

Simon Stone (goodreadssimonstone) | 33 comments Gregory: You heard of my book? Cool, I must be doing something right (now if I could just figure out what that is...)

Had a look at Brother Thief too, looks interesting, but it says it has 1,200 pages? What's the word count?

Eileen -

It's under "Book of the Month - Other", and look for the "Nominate genres for November", I believe.

If there is a tie I'll make a new poll as a tie breaker having only the books that tied on it, and give it a week to get the votes in.

So I forgot that today is officially November and the poll closed. I made the new tie breaker poll it's only open for a week so get your votes in quick.

message 23: by Simon (new)

Simon Stone (goodreadssimonstone) | 33 comments Thanks for putting the tie-breaker poll up Scott... Jim's baseball bat was starting to get me worried.

message 24: by Jim (new)

Jim Galford (jgalford) | 150 comments After looking at the initial voting, I want my baseball bat back.

message 25: by Simon (new)

Simon Stone (goodreadssimonstone) | 33 comments A lot can happen in a week mate... hopefully not involving your bat.

message 26: by Jim (new)

Jim Galford (jgalford) | 150 comments We shall see...not ruling the bat out just yet. *grin*
