Has anyone seen the movie, Lost In Austen? I finally got around to watching it last month and now I'm obsessed with it. It's witty and funny- if y'all get a chance, I recommend it for a rainy, lazy day. It's streaming on Netflix now.

Mrs.ColinBridgerton | 62 comments I own it. (Before netflix got around to it) It was really cute and funny. I liked it a lot, although I wasnt crazy about Mr.Darcy, but then again not everyone can be Colin Firth. ;-)

DeeDee (deedee97) | 27 comments Do you mean the UK miniseries starring Jemima Rooper? If so, then yes I have seen it. It was on UK TV about 2 years ago I think, and I thought it was excellent. I was hoping they would make a follow up but they never did. I loved the dastardly Mr Wickham, a much nicer, but still deliciously wicked character in this series, than in the novel. I might have to go and watch it again now that you have reminded me about it ;) x

Donna, yes, the UK miniseries. A friend of mine was raving about it, I'm glad they mentioned it to me!

I love that show, but sad that the American edition cut out the scene of her singing "Downtown." I watched the original online and the bought the DVD and found out that scene was missing. When I looked it up online it was because of some copyright issue, but it makes me sad that the cut it out. It was one of my favorite scenes!

Oh! Kasey, I didn't know that. Too bad. I wondered about their expressions and why Amanda says- Smoulder alert, when Darcy looks at her. How did she sound?

I know! It is just a great addition to the movie and it makes more sense with that scene there. I wish they wouldn't have removed it!

It really does make more sense, because all we get is Amanda swallowing that drink down and everyone clapping. I thought she had a nice voice and did well with that bit she sang.

She did. It was just funny seeing the confusion on their faces as the listened to her too.
