Christina was running through the forest, so fast that her hair flew backwards and branches whipped her cheeks as she passed them. Something was going to happen here tonight. She didn't know exactly what, but she did know that it shouldn't be ignored. Thinking back to when Jasmine, Juliet and herself had found the random trapdoor somewhere around here, she began stamping her feet on the ground, hoping to hear the familliar sound of her shoes making contact with the trapdoors wood.
Jasmine walked in as well, also seraching for the trapdoor. Why she would search for it she had no clue - hadn't there been some wacky monsters in there that had almost killed them? But then that of course would be the reason why she had returned. The adrenaline and the excitement. She ran into Christina and raised an eyebrow.
"You're searching for it, too?"

Christina jumped a foot in the air.
"We need to find it quickly!"
Christina said, tripping over her words.
"Otherwise we won't be able to open it from the outside!"
She seemed like she was in a huge rush.
"And the number of thestrals has gone down again. There aren't a lot in the normal areas."

"What would actually go near a thestral?" Jasmine asked, concerned. She dropped down on the ground and ran her hands over the forest floor, hoping to find the trapdoor that way. So far all she was finding was dirt and bugs.

Christina went on stamping. To anyone who didn't know what she was looking for, she looked like an idiot dancing under the moonlight.
"It was- definetaly- here- somewhere!"
Christina shouted between kicks.

Jasmine pulled her hand back to avoid getting her hand trampled and started jumping alongside Christina.
"Isn't there - a spell - we could use - to find - it?!"
"Isn't there - a spell - we could use - to find - it?!"
"What are you two doing?" Juliet asked from a path to their left, staring curiously. Wandering into the forest seemed like a good idea at the time, but seeing as she found those two in some type of rushed danger, she wasn't too sure anymore.

"Juliet!" Jasmine gasped, continuing to jump. "We're searching - for the - trapdoor!" She stopped jumping and stood there, panting. "Would you care to join us?"
She looked at Christina and grinned brightly. "Never mind, it's been found."
She looked at Christina and grinned brightly. "Never mind, it's been found."
"Even if there was, the door is probably charmed so we won't be able to-"
But she never had the chance to finish her sentance.
"YES!"
Was all she said, throwing her hands up into the air.
"Victory!"
She got down onto her knees and dusted away the dirt which had been lying on top of what they could both now see, was in fact a trapdoor.

Juliet looked at the old rotten door wearily. "I'll join in, I suppose. I haven't had an adventure in the forest for months."
She walked over to it, leaning down on her knees to help pry it open. "Just one question- why are you trying to open it again?"

(( ^-^ ))
"Something's going to happen down there tonight."
Christina grinned.
"We all need to get in, because in a few minuets, we won't be able to open it from the outside... And I guess I'm first then."
She swung her legs over the edge, and pushed herself off and into the darkness.

"Be my guest. Because that's the smart thing to do." Juliet glared accordingly, but not a second later did a grin break onto her face.
She peered down into the dark and asked to Christina, "Are you dead yet?"
She peered down into the dark and asked to Christina, "Are you dead yet?"
Jasmine grinned back. "It is indeed, and we are very smart people." She winked at Juliet and then lowered herself into the hole and feel down after Christina. She landed hard on the ground.
"Ouch," she mumbled, walking to the side so that Juliet wouldn't fall on top of her when she came down.

Christina coughed out a bit of dust and took in the thick, familliar scent of death, blood and anything else you could think of that would make most people turn round and run. But none of these girls were 'Most people' . She brought her wand out of her boot.
"Lumos."
She said, her voice echoing round the underground tunnels as light flooded from her wand.

"Well here we are again," Jasmine said somewhat grimly, lighting her wand as well. "How did you know that something was going to happen here tonight?"
Juliet looked around, absorbing the last gulp of fresh air she'd have for a while. "Early death, here I come." She muttered and followed in after through the doorframe.
Okay, so maybe the fall was a little farther down that she thought. Grumbling angrily as she got up, brushing off the dirt and leaves, Juliet brought out her own wand and did like Christina.
"Lumos," She said, with a complimentary "It better be more than just some 'feeling', or I swear if this isn't worth it..."

"I do my research."
Christina answered bluntly, trying to see which tunnel they should take first. A small smile was playing at her lips. She wasn't planning on telling anyone how she really found out, even if it was Jasmine and Juliet.

Jasmine rolled her eyes but didn't push her,
"Alright then, I guess that means you know which way we have to go."
"Alright then, I guess that means you know which way we have to go."
"Would forward be an answer?" Juliet replied evenly, taking a few steps farther. Unless they were going to dig some new tunnel, that seemed to be their only option.
"We're supposed to follow the scent of death."
Christina said. Almost whispered.
"But it's coming from everywhere. This is going to be harder than I thought."

Jasmine sighed and would've facepalmed had the situation been less serious.
"I say we go forward like Juliet suggested," she said, noticing as well that at the moment forward was the only way they could go, but no doubt the tunnel would branch off into others sooner rather than later.

"Wait. Do you literally mean death, or would blood be an option too?"
Blood could be the easiest to track; as long as it wasn't thousands of years old. "Because God knows what death smells like, other then some rotting piece of meat."

"I think blood would be a pretty good option. While one could say this place reeks of death, really it's the presence of death that fills the place. Or the thought that you're going to die, because there are actually many life forces here. Their auras are clearly visible."
"Wherever there's the type of death we're looking for, there will be blood."
Christina told Juliet, moving alonge the tunnel. Her right hand kept her wand up to lead their way while she let her left hand drift silently across the dirty wall as she walked.
"It might be a little stale... But it will be there."

Juliet nodded, her throat stinging from the forever lingering stench. She cleared her throat uncomfortably, keeping the illuminated wand up, and followed Christina down the tunnel.
"I'll try. Make sure to tell us when the tunnel splits. If you just keep going, I highly doubt I could tell the difference right away." Juliet coughed into her sleeve. "And please, I beg you, warn us ahead if you're going to try something idiotic."

"Consider yourselfs warned before whatever it is actually happends."
Christina grinned. As soon as she had finished that sentance and turned back round to look forwards, they came across their first bend. Two tunnels wound in opposite directions. One to the left, and the other to the right. Strange gurgling sounds seemed to be coming from the one on the left. However, the one on the right seemed to be hissing silently. You'd only be able to hear it if there was compleate silence.
"Take your pick..."
She murmered, taking a single step back in case something decided to jump out at her.

Suddenly quite curious about why they were in here, Juliet gave a look of distrust to Christina she pushed herself passed her. About two steps into the right tunnel, she lifting her wand up to the wall and it reflected brightly in a shimmering bronze.
She ran her fingers against the hard, rough stone, and brought them back up to her face. Her nose scrunched up in disgust, and Juliet stepped back out.
"N-not..not that one." She coughed out, cringing. "The l-left pathway seems to be...closer."
Juliet held out an arm, inviting Christina to go in first.

Christina sighed and walked into the tunnel, taking her every step slowly. She took small steps forward, not really wanting to end up falling off a sudden drop or something. She was now walking in compleate darkness.
"Hey guys, besides the smell I don't think there's anything in he-"
A huge squelching sound came from the darkness.
"I think I just stepped in a giant, breathing booger!"
Christina called back, holding a hand over her nose at the smell which suddenly seemed to form around her.

"Is it poison?" Though her voice was mocking, Juliet shone her wand onto Christina. She took a look at whatever she stepped on, and to her utmost terror, a half decomposed body organ lay swished underneath her foot.
((...I couldn't think of any magical creature -_- so a body part seemed weird enough for the time being.))
Automatically, Juliet raised her wand until the sight of the thing was practically gone. She glanced uncertainly at Christina before continuing farther down. "Let's just, ah, move on, shall we?"

Jasmine made a face at the half decomposed body organ.
"That's disgusting," she mumbled, covering her mouth and nose with her hand. She wondered vaguely who's body organ that had been and what had ripped it out of them...what was she getting herself into? Correction: what had she gotten herself into?

"It's kind of cool actually."
Christina mumbled, as she kicked at the ground, trying to scrape off the remains.
"Well, it would be cooler if it wasn't once inside a living person. Or animal."
She said, finally deciding that enough had been scraped off.

"Cannibals be near," she said warningly, "leave. Please."
A low crackle of leaves caught Juliet's attention, and with a whirl of her cloak, spun around to hear the hum of her dear cousin. Face to face, Juliet stumbled back in a silent scream, eventually shrieking out, "S-SOPHIE!" and jabbing her illuminated wand accusingly.
"Wh-When the b-bloody hell did you get here?!"
"Wh-When the b-bloody hell did you get here?!"

Her fist clenched on a bloody tuff of wet clothing nearly hidden in her sleeve.

Jasmine eyes flickered towards her fist and she raised her eyebrows slightly, but said nothing.
"Well thank you Sophie for being our stalker," she said quietly. "It just so happens we are here to see what is happening," she said, hoping that was Christina's intent.
"Why on earth would we be doing anything in this forest with the intention of harm, hm?" she asked quizically.

(( I just thought I should mention that we're all underground ^-^' I'm not sure if you know that ._. ))
"I assure you, we're not doing anything to hurt anyone."
Christina said, hoping that the smell of the decomposing organ would simply fade off her shoe.
"Quite the opposite, actually."
She added under her breath.

(( I guess there could be dry leaves down here, too... Dry leaves and bones ._. ))
"Sort of."
Christina muttered.

((lol))
"Sort of," Jasmine scoffed. "Christina's being extremely secrective and refuses to reveal anything," she said, a bit annoyed.

Christina went on muttering words under her breath as they walked on.
Her wand was still producing a blueish light, and just as everything seemed to fall silent for them again, three more tunnels became visable to them.

"Decisions, decisions," she murmured. "All we're missing is that two-faced god who's name I can never remember."
Jasmine stared at the three tunnels, trying to see into the darkness without actually entering the tunnels. It wasn't going too well.
