They are both only okay..Nothing super specail

What if I said Carter was a Jerk???? JK!!! I like both of them, but sadie most of all!

I don't remember them very well, but I liked Carter's "here we go again..." attitude

She acts like it's his fault his father made him where dress shirts and not "cool" clothes.

Exactly, I'm not saying that I hate Sadie, I'm just saying that I like Carter better.

And I'm not saying I hate Carter ok? I just think that magic is a bit cooler.

I like them both but I like how Sadie is diffrent she isn't afraid to be who she is, yes she is a bit bratty at times but you have to look at what she went though - she didn't get to know her dad and her grandparents seem kind of strict. She only got to see her brother and dad 2 times a year, but she and Carter are learning to trust eachother - they both have room for charecter development which is happening in each book

I know he had a hard life as well but I can relate to Sadie more becuase I'm a girl shes such a strong girl charecter and she says whatevers on her mind, I sometimes wish I could say what I'm thinking.

Carter. I like Sadie too, though.

Sadie. For one reason. We. are. EXACTLY. the. same. It was funny cuz i was reading the series and every time sadie was telling us what was going on i said what I would if in that situation do and she did that same thing.

oh yeah the only differences betweeen me and sadie are our looks and nationality (shes british blonde and pale, Im indian jetblackhaired and cinnamon)

i like them both. Carter gets kinda bossy and Sadie is a little rude for me. But i have to say I like Sadie the most anyway

Both are awesome in my opinion. But for me, Sadie has the stronger character/ personality. And despite the fact that she grew up mainly with her grandparents she is a LOT braver than her brother.

Carter is cool too, I guess. He's more like me than Sadie. Resourceful, an analyst, still trying to discover himself. Admirable character.

I like Sadie,she is more entertaining. I'm not saying I don't like Carter, but I just think Sadie tells the story better.

What really annoys me is that both main characters are ethnically Black and White but not Egyptian. Still a good book though besides that point.

Carter. Mainly, because I feel that Rick Riodan is so unfair to him. He shows obvious favoritism to Sadie; he trys too hard to make her "cool" and Carter is just a useless dork; It's like Sadie is the main character and Carter's just another supporting character. It's supposed to be "The Kane Chronicles" not the "The Sadie Kane Soap Opera".

yhh. i rlly cn't decide, but wen i read the 1st book for th first time, i liked carter better. i mean, sadie wuz kind of mean to him in the beggining.

I agree, i always got annoyed with sadie when i read her parts

they're both awesome i just prefer Sadie
