I just finished this book and was wowed. It was great, but i was bothered by the love triangle. Why does there always have to be one??? Anyways i was wondering who everybody else liked better, Fade or Stalker?

I was a fan of Fade's. But it probably will end up with her and Stalker since they spend so much time together and seem to be building a strong relationship.

FADE! I am angry at all of them for being so dumb about relationships though. I hate love triangles, cuz it always seems like the guy who deserves to get the girl (in my opinion) never gets her! Its just not fair!

I don't think this is a love triangle. Deuce likes/loves Fade, not Stalker, who she only sees as a training partner.

I like Fade better anyway

I think it is a love triangle because stalker likes Deuce and they have kissed, also if u read the description for the next book, apparently it heats up . . . and yeah the right guy never ends up with the girl :(

I don't know who I like... I hated Stalker and loved Fade at the beginning, but as the book progressed Fade started to become distance while Stalker started to get closer...
I'm sort of waiting for the next book to decide.

Stalker tries to change Deuce's mind in book two and there are obstacles with Fade. It's not a triangle in the sense that she's equally torn between them. She will always want Fade, but it's a scary world and who knows what could happen? *g*

Oh man, I'm a big fan of Fade. Not that I hate Stalker, but Fade could have just as easily turned out badly in this scary world yet he chose the harder scarier path toward goodness. I find that admirable. =)

I like Fade, he reminds me of Four form Divergent :P
And about Stalker, i don't think they should start liking his character more in the next book, because he was horrible with women. Deuce should not just forgive him and treat him well, and in my opinion neither should anybody.

Besides Stalker is gross and disgusting with all those red markings and scars on his face.

There's no way she's going to end up with Stalker. Stalker is just a point of tension.

Thats exactly who Fade reminded me of, and don't u think Stalker's name should give us a hint too . . . i mean STALKER?

Oh I think it's totally Fade :D He's kind and strong and everything ;)

I hope eventually Deuce will end up with Fade.

I think though Deuce and Fade do have to go their separate ways to discover who they are, before they realize why they shouldn't be apart.

I agree. And I'm very partial to Fade!

Ack - I'm seriously hoping the author doesn't put us through a love triangle with Stalker in the mix. I know he likes Deuce, but he's a pretty terrible person. Fade, on the other hand, has sacrificed so much to protect Deuce. He's proven his loyalty again and again. I wanted to slap her when she started putting distance between them.

Count me in as a proud member of team Fade. :)

If Deuce ends up with Stalker I will rip these books into pieces.
I doubt she will though, no author can be THAT reckless. No offence. I think Stalker's okay, just not okay with Deuce. At all. I am glad everyone here can also see the logic. (: There better not be a stupid/pointless love triangle to this. I don't care if Stalker likes Deuce, I just don't want her to like him back and go on about 'who she should choose blah blah blah'

I'm team Fade, no question about it. I blame Stalker and Tegan and Pearl for the distance put between him and Deuce. I know it's not Deuce's fault that she didn't know how to comfort him when he took Pearl's death hard but that was so frustrating to read.
Then when Deuce and Stalker kissed! What the hell?!? I so wanted to gauge me eyes out when i got up to that bit. I mean, I did see that coming but I didn't want to believe it till I got there, you know?
And also I'd just want to add that I hate Stalker's name. It makes him sound... dodgy. Like, every time I see his name I think of a rapist. A RAPIST! That is low, Deuce. It's low.

Hmm...I like both of them....I like Fade!!...But Stalker was starting to become cute when Deuce was teaching him...

I'm worried about Tegan ... she likes Fade? so what if he likes her back ... then it would be like a square or something

I really hope that she ends up with Fade. I don't know if I'd be able to handle her choosing Stalker. Tegan should end up with Stalker and show him how strong she is ;) ... this is of course just my opinion but it's what I'm rooting for!

I think stalker should just go away to live somewhere else, and Tegan find someone new in the second book, and Fade with Duece.

FADE , stalkers an idiot. no matter what happens between them in the middle, in the end it will be fade for sure

Stalker let his men(or even him) rape women for breeding purpose, I would not be a Stalker'fan. He's changed a bit but only for his own benefit, his survival. Deuce doesn't know how she feels about Fade because it's new to her. But for me it's Fade!

You guys know that Stalker was the leader of a group of rapist and in all likelihood has raped girls himself, right? He is not a viable love interest. He's disgusting. The book is disgusting for portraying him as one for even half a second.

I hated how Deuce seemed to brush that over.

I felt like she thought the girl they freed had herself to blame because she hadnt fought hard enough to try to stop the rape and abuse. :/

to be honest I hate the whole romance part of the book.

(lol) And I agree, I really hate the whole love triangle thing only because every single dystopian author does it and in my head I'm just thinking "why can't things ever just work out?" and then I think "because then it would be boring..."

He did try to kill her and would probably have raped her if she wasnt such a good fighter.

And I fail to see how raping someone has to do with survival. But I can agree that when a person is deprived of basic needs,the human brain will fall back to the reptile brain functions. (Eat,Fight or flee...and the um other thing that starts with an F)

I do hope you dont go for guys like that in rl.

Alright people really are we even questioning this? Fade and her NEED to be together!!!! Tell starker to get out and it is time for Fade. He even wishpered to her I love you. I hope she loves him. I do not know if she knows what love really is. I thik Fade is teaching her.

Is that even a real question? Fade, obviously. Stalker is just some random guy they picked up after their own romance already started. Deuce knew what he did to Tegan and what he wanted to do to her. Why would she ever be with him?

I think what I was getting at was also Tegan was going for Fade, and (correct me if I;m wrong, but)he was leading her on ... Deuce was getting jealous.

THis was a good book except I didn't like the ending it was very bland... oh and Team Fade without a doubt
