Historical Fictionistas discussion

I don't know why but I've really wanted to read some historical fiction involving Joan of Arc but haven't actually found anything. Does anyone know of any?

I just finished a great book about Joan of Arc, check out The Maid by Kimberly Cutter.

Diana I have been feeling the exact same way. Not sure why either.

I know of An Army of Angels: A Novel of Joan of Arc and Mark Twain's Joan of Arc. He thought it was his best novel. Maybe the latter is a bit difficult to read.

I will second Joseph's comment on The Maid by Kimberly Cutter, it was really fantastic and I highly recommend it. Kimberly Cutter is a great author and I thought she really captured Joan's spirit very well!

I'd heard about Mark Twain's novel but it didn't really get my attention, I'll keep The Maid in mind since I've seen a lot of reviews for it.

I'm curious about her, too.
