I can't stand Bella...in the beginning I thought she was going to be this strong role-model for teenage girls to emulate, she just turned out to be that whiny teen girl that everybody hates. Edward and Bella are perfect for each other...let's be sparkly and morose together...ugh! Now, Jacob on the other hand...

She definitely should have seen that coming and it's funny I did like Edward in the beginning, but grew to like Jacob more! :D

yes, absolutely. i like poppy z. brites' vampires...even if they are a little racy...ok, a lot racy!
and, edward seemed lovely at first and then he seemed controlling and possessive and jacob was whiny and then got stronger...strangeness...
frankly, i like the look of edward more...i like my men undead and sparkly! :D
and, let's not forget what stephen king said...

Team Carlisle all the way! He doesn't get enough appreciation. He has saved so many lives as a doctor, took in 5 vampire children, and bought his wife an island- he even named it after her! What else must he do to get proper appreciation?
yes, i love Interview with a Vampire and The Vampire Lestat...hmmm, and then Dracula and then this book...

Discussion Questions for the Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyers
1. Why do you think the Twilight series is so popular?
2. What’s your favorite thing about Twilight? Is it the characters? Plot? Setting?
The supernatural/vampire element? Something else?
3. Which book in the series is your favorite? Least favorite? Why?
4. Who is your favorite character? Least favorite? Why?
5. The vampires of Twilight are different than the superstitions. What are some of the traditions
about vampires from history and literature that you are aware of? How do the Twilight
vampires differ? How are they the same?
6. What was your favorite scene in the book? What one sticks in your mind the most?
7. Do you think like either the books or the movies better than the other one? If you do, why?
8. What do you think of Carlisle’s decision to ‘save’people by making them vampires? Should
he have let them die? After all, not every vampire can renounce blood, and a vampire can
never have a ‘normal’ life or ‘normal’ relationships every again. If you were dying, would
you want to be made into a vampire? Why or why not?
9. Edward reveals to Bella that he has spied on her at night, even been in her room. He has
definitely violated her privacy and without her consent. What do you think of his actions?
Especially considering that Edward doesn’t know if he can resist biting Bella until after he
starts his night-time visits? Would it be all right with you if someone you liked came in your
room at night and spied on you?
10. What got you started reading the series?
11. What other books would you recommend to someone who enjoyed the Twilight series?
12. If the author were here, what would you like to ask her?
13. Are there any questions you would like to ask, or other comments you would like to make
