I'm excited to read this one... as, by title alone, it seems so different from everything else you have written.
Thanks for the excitement, Lori. Yeah, it's pretty different. Contemporary setting, 40ish female narrator, murky stuff in tht past, etc.
I recently turned in the final typescript of the book, so I'm waiting to get that back (will probably take a couple months). Somewhere along the line I'll get to see the cover (and approve it, I hope). Then I'll get page proofs to go over and check, making little corrections if need be, and then I should get a set of bound proofs to do the same thing. Sometime in Aug/Sept the book will come out and I'll need to do some readings/publicity stuff, probably centered on the west coast (the publisher, Red Hen, is in CA).
I'll keep this forum posted every steo of the way if you're interested, and also on my blog, twitter, facebook, etc...
