Ooh creative!! *sigh* Now I have to write mine...
Wait, I have a question. Does it have to be written right now, or can I take a full story that follows all the qualifications, one that I've written before?

Sarah was getting ready for the day when she lost her hair band. She searched around her bathroom and room, and could not find it anywhere. In desperation, she tiptoed to her younger brother's room to see if he has stolen it. When she opened the door, there it was, on his bedside table. She grabbed it and put it in her hair. Then she freaked out at her little brother.
The End
The End

The end. Wow. What fantastic words I wish I could hear. The end.
The end of my internal war, the end of a hard life of work, the end of it all. Just that: the end.
I looked up into my bathroom mirror. It was the end.
How I would miss the look, the sounds, the sights.
The game was finished.
(In case you couldn't figure it out, she's a game designer and finished her first game.)

I cried as a baby. I slept as a teen. I danced and sang, and smiled lots and lots in my middle years. I whispered and shared old, old secrets in later years, and I silently passed in my sleep.
Kenzie, yours doesn't have a plot, it is just somebody's thoughts. Nothing actually happens.
But it was cool, I must say.
Just an FYI, I'll give you an example, for all of you:
I get out of bed, yawning.
"A perfect day," I mutter. Unfortunately, I'm lying. It isn't and won't be a "perfect day."
My day will be miserable beyond compare.
I decide I should get started on this horrific day. I take a shower, eat breakfast, and walk out the door--just like every other day of my life, past present, and future.

Water drips.
The faucet leaks.
What can I do?
I will call my friend.
He will work it all out.
He comes and fixes the leaky faucet.
Finally I can maybe get sleep.
I just feel so happy.
This is a relief.
I lay down.
I sleep.
Drip!
I run faster, faster, faster. Burning, burning, burning are my legs. My breath is wheezing, wheezing, wheezing. Stitching, stitching, stitching is my side. And he still chases me.
Scream, scream, scream. I try. But nothing comes out.
Despair, despair, despair. It rises up as my legs become slow, slow, slow. I can't run anymore.
Harder, harder, harder. I try. But it's no use. I've already lost.
Stop, stop, stop. Turn around and face my fate.

Write a story in 75 words or less.
Make it have a beginning, middle, and end.
Do not have non-sequiters. This is a story, not a run on thought.
Do not have any mechanical errors. 75 words is not hard to check.
Those are the rules. The contest ends on Halloween.
Additional challenge: Try to end it without killing the character.
or
Try to write it in under 50 words
If you don't know what to write about, use the following word for inspiration:
Hair band (or hair tie)
