Any one still here? Work's and play have kept me from reading much books (that coupled with having a few duds on the bookstand), but the last one read was an anthology of Sci-Fi stories including one entitled...

The Cassandra Project.

It was not about what I expected :)

I'm around. I'm reading a bunch, but it's hard for me to settle down to read something at the same time as others. I already have to be disciplined enough to do that for my book club, so doing it here too is tough.

In addition, so far the WW group has either been reading books I've already read or books I'm not interested in reading. I really like reading the reviews by various people in this group though.

Ludesfactor | 15 comments I'm here; I just haven't been reading much and all the reading I've been doing has been for WW games (Blade Runner, Chronicles of Amber). I've gotten several new books thanks to Borders going under, not sure if I've put them all in the "to read" shelf or not. Well, that's the report from here, hope some others check in soonish ...

I'm here too! I got mired down in some long and slow books (Fountainhead and the first two Song of Fire and Ice books). Long books really slow me down no matter if I like them or not.

I actually like what the BGGWW Books group has become. It is a repository of books. It is too difficult to read books concurrently as a group. But it's nice to check in with a book's entry in the group as I read it. Now I am reading Foundation, which has been posted here for a while. Now I can give my input and read others.

Sure there will be times when you find someone or a few others to read a book concurrently (Dr. Ben and I did that with Dune). That was nice to follow each other's experiences as we went.

So, here and loving this group still. I'm just not reading the books from this group every day.

I think I've learned that I don't read the little emailed alerts, so it doesn't occur to me to check in. I still think, though, that it's neat to see what other people've been reading, and what they thought of their books.

And also, we could always start a full-out holy war over e-readers.

I had read some books in betwen classes awhile back, but it was all popcorns stuff, nothing think-y. Next break I have the new stephanie plum to breeze thru. Right now I'm reading sociolingusitics for class. So hard to stay awake. Promise to renew my dedication at some point. Fer real-real, not fer play-play
