This is the article that made me think to start this thread http://www.guardian.co.uk/books/books... it makes interesting reading.

My college library had a very old and battered copy of Nine Stories, I kept checking it out again and again. I pondered bying myself a copy but never could, it feels wrong if it's not that particular book.

I still need to read Nine Stories and I've wanted to read Blindness for a while (and I know which box my copy is wrapped in - it's hardback Blindness/Seeing) I think I was a bit put off after reading
which went on a bit in parts.
