There is also a book by the same name. Where I am sharing the parallel is the control part and the degradation of creativity.
I am an advocate of the GPL and Linux. To me creativity is an expression and to me it is about choice and the freedom of choice.
That looks pretty rad. What was the name of the book on hackers which was for entry-level people into the 'movement' whose author was interviewed on Linux Outlaws? That British activist woman...

Based on what you said in the podcast, it sounds like the name was an unintentional coincidence so I thought you'd like to be made aware of it since Burroughs is a fairly controversial figure.
BTW, for anyone interested in reading Burroughs, I'd suggest that you first listen to some of his spoken word recordings. Reading Burroughs is a lot easier once you have his voice and cadence implanted in your brain.
