Lush Library discussion

I was looking at these book but wasn't sure if they were a good read or not ?? I would love your views on it and your thoughts also if any of you have read any of the young Sherlock Holmes ??

I think The Vampire Diaries start off as a good read, if you're into the whole paranormal/vampire romance thing. The first couple of books in the Return sequence have aspects to them that are a bit silly, and a few wasted opportunities (I won't spoil them for you), but if you can overlook that then they still make for entertaining reading.

I've not read any of the young Sherlock Holmes as yet, but I've read a lot of Anthony Horowitz, and I think he's a fabulous writer. From that perspective alone, I think House of Silk will probably be fairly good.

I Love Vampire Diaries L.J.Smith is in my top 10 authors I've literally loved everything she has written. Saying that, some of the things that happen are a bit silly and very unlikely, but that is the beauty of fantasy I think. :)
