another thing I have been considering is a weekly discussion post with a guest weekly to do a follow up and their take of the discussion
If it was a mini interview thing I would have standard question with one at the end that is diff to the others each week you know?

1. Do you ever use guest posts on your blog?
Yes, I have in the past with many different authors.
2. How to you get these guest posts?
Usually the publisher or author contacts me through my blog.
3. Do you ask guest-posters to write on specific topics, or do you give them free-reign?
I usually give them free-reign but try to keep it within the YA realm.
4. How many guest posts would you have (roughly) per month, or per year? Does it depend on special circumstances (e.g going on holidays or having a themed month)
I usually just feature them every once in awhile as they aren't very popular.
I have an idea for a project about guest posts. Anyway, before I commit to spending time developing it, I was hoping you guys could possibly help me out a little by answering a couple of questions (either in the comments, or you can email me mygirlfriday@live.com.au). I think this project would be beneficial to a lot of book-bloggers, but want to learn a little more about how people use guest-posts first. Thanks in advance!

Questions about writing guest posts
1. Have you ever written a guest-post for someone else's blog?
2. How did you find about the guest-posting opportunity? (were you approached or did the blogger do an open-call?)
3. Did you write on an assigned topic or was it of your own choice?
4. If it was of your own choice, was this something you had pre-written, or did you write the post specifically for the blog?
5. How many guest-posts have you written?
Answers can be as short as you like - just trying to get a few general ideas sorted :)
